Sept 1st, 1954 to June 4th, 2023

A Celebration of Life will be held for Dorene Wright on Saturday, September 16 at Tooby Park Playground side in Garberville.  The event will take place from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM.  Dorene’s friends and family invite the community to come and share in a bbq/picnic.

Dorene was community-minded and embraced the Southern Humboldt community most of her life.  She was one to share.  The Covid restrictions over the last two plus years have prevented many people from saying an official farewell to loved ones that passed on during that time.  Perhaps some of you still need closure.  On behalf of Dorene, her friends and family invite the community to bring photos of their loved ones, their stories and join in farewell.  This will be a time for community members to mingle and remember the good things about their loved ones.

Grilled burgers and dogs will be provided.  Please bring a side dish for potluck sharing. Musicians, please bring your instruments.  Everyone bring your own beverage and chair and a hug to share.  We will see you at Tooby Park!
