Fat Cat used to be Bill Beasley’s and my Dad bought my lime green Schwinn Stingray there… a long, long time ago…
Boy, I wanted a Stingray. All my friends had them. My father who was wealthier than all of their parents by a long shot was hiding his affluence during a 6 year divorce proceeding and I got Huffy. No Ape Hanger handle bars and no Banana seat, but it was the same size.
The white vehicle is not a Honda. Its a Hundai…
Good thing that was not a head on crash. The Chrysler 300 might have killed the occupants of the little Hyundai EV. Hope everyone involved with will check out ok and be fine. From the picture it does not look like the Hyundai front air bags deployed. I don’t think they were going fast enough to trigger the bags. The Hyundai front end is just floppy plastic.
About 40 years ago I was driving down Los Angeles Ave and heard a crash at the entrance to Larwin Square. I immediately turned my head and there had been a collision between an older very tiny Honda Civic and an and older very much bigger Dodge Charger. The Civic had a pretty munched left front fender but the Charger was upside down slowly revolving to a stop. I stopped at Bank of A. Levy, the branch where they filmed “ The Amazing Doberman Gang”, and tried to imagine what happened to no avail and the next day’s Enterprise offered no clues.
