Briceland Road Blocked Due to Downed Tree and Power Lines

Power Lines DownA tree and power lines are down on Briceland Road just west of Old Briceland Road, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page. The report came in at 5:48 a.m. and they are still reported down as of 7:47 a.m.

PG&E has been requested to respond. But there is no estimated time for them to arrive at this time.

Does anyone know if old Briceland road is open?

Humboldt County Public Works says, “Briceland Thorne Road closed at Old Briceland Road due to low hanging power lines. PG&E has been contacted.”

The road was blocked after the turn for old Briceland road, so you could still turn onto it.

Briceland Road is now apparently open.
trees and down powerlines were removed in Briceland area And just west of the Ettersburg Junction. County roads also removed a tree blocking the Ettersburg rd 1/2 mile north of the Junction.
