Heads Up Motorists: Caltrans Announces Upcoming Roadwork Throughout District 1

Del Norte County

U.S. 101 (8.3/8.6) – Bridge work on the Hunter and Panther bridges will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101KB

U.S. 101 (21.2/22.7) – Construction in the Last Chance Grade area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays at all hours. LC#C101FA

U.S. 101 (25.9/26) – Emergency work just south of Crescent City will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m.to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#M101AA

U.S. 101 (27.2/27.6) – Roadway excavation from Parkway Drive to Wilson & Burtchell will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101PC

U.S. 101 (36/39.8) – Utility work near Dr. Fine Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA

U.S. 199 (2.5/3) – Construction work near Kings Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C199CA

U.S. 199 (11/11.7) – Paving work near the Hardscrabble Creek Bridge will begin on Monday, October 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C199DA

U.S. 199 (27/35) – Culvert work between Dorris Slide and Oregon Mountain Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C199XA

U.S. 199 (27/35) – Electrical work near the Collier Tunnel Rest Area will begin on Tuesday, October 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C199EA

Humboldt County

 

Route 36 (20.8/23.8) – Slide removal from Bar W Road to Bridgeville Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C36MA

U.S. 101 (17.9) – Bridge work south of Phillipsville will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. A northbound onramp closure will also be in effect. Motorists should use an alternate route. LC#C101FB

U.S. 101 (27.7/27.9) – Bridge work near Myers Flat will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. A full on ramp closure will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101CF

U.S. 101 (45.6) – Bridge work at Greenlaw Creek Bridge will begin on the evening of Monday, October 10. Lane closures will be in effect between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101CZ

U.S. 101 (60.6/60.7) – Bridge work at Rohnner Creek Bridge will begin on the evening of Monday, October 10. Lane closures will be in effect between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101PA

U.S. 101 (87.5/89.6) – Excavation work from the St Louis Overcrossing to Mad River Bridge will continue. Lane closures will be in effect between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101CZ

U.S. 101 (87.5/109.3) – Construction and paving work from Murray Road Overcrossing to Georgia Pacific Road will continue. One-way traffic control and lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. Full on and off ramp closures will be in effect weekdays from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations: Route 299/101 Interchange, all southbound on and off ramps weekdays from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Airport Road Undercrossing, all on and off ramps on October 10 and 11. School Road Overcrossing, all on and off ramps on October 12 and 13Murray Road Overcrossing, all on and off ramps on October 11 and 12. North Central Avenue Undercrossing, all on and off ramps on October 7. Crannel Road Overcrossing, all on and off ramps on October 7. Seawood Drive Undercrossing Bridge, northbound off ramp through October 7. Motorists should follow signage and use an alternate route when necessary. LC#C101CA, #C101ZC, and C101PA

Route 254 (13.5/20.8) – A special event will require a full closure of Avenue of the Giants between Myers Flat and Englewood on Sunday, October 9. The closure will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should choose an alternate route. LC#C254CA

Route 255 (6/7.1) – Permitted utility work between Pacheco Road and Jackson Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control and lane closures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C255BA

Route 299 (24.6/27.7) – Repair work from Chezem Road to Three Creek Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m.to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C299OA and C299AA

Route 299 (27.4/28.4) – Shoulder work from Old Three Creek Road to Vista point will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#C299AA

Route 299 (34.6/37.9) – Construction from Willow Creek to Old Three Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C299BA


Lake County

Route 20 (7.7) – Road work in Upper Lake near Van Sleeper Road will occur on Thursday, October 13. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#20DB

Route 20 (10.8/11.4) – Utility work in Upper Lake near Pomo Way will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#20YA

Route 20 (12.3) – Road work will occur east of the Nice Lucerne Cutoff continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#C20DB

Route 20 (16.6/17.2) – Bridge work in Lucerne from Grove Street to Sixth Street will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C20WA

Route 20 (17.3/18) – Utility work will occur in Lucerne near Ogden Road on Monday, October 10. Lane closures will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C20BA

Route 20 (30.4) – Road work will occur at Catholic Church Road on Monday, October 10. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C20DB

Route 29 (20) – Road work in Lower Lake near Clayton Creek Road will occur on Monday, October 10. Lane closures will be effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#C29GA

Route 29 (22.1) – Road work will occur in Lower Lake at Point Lakeview Road will on Tuesday, October 11. Lane closures will be effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C29GA

Route 29 (44.4) – Road work will occur in Lakeport near Crystal Lake Way on Tuesday, October 11. Lane closures will be effect from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C29GA

Route 29 (49.2/51.2) – Bridge work at Robinson Rancheria Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C29VA

Route 53 (1.4) – Road work will occur in Clear Lake at Dam Road on Monday, October 10. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C53FA

Route 175 (8.6/9.9) – Utility work near Old Lower Lake Road will occur on Thursday, October 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C175AA

Route 175 (19.2/20) – Bridge work in Cobb at Estates Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C175RA

 

Mendocino County

Route 1 (59.5/60.1) – Bridge work will occur in Fort Bragg at Hare Creek on Friday, October 7. Lane closures will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1FA 

Route 1 (59.6) – Bridge work in Fort Bragg at Hare Creek continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#P1BA 

Route 20 (5.8/8.1) – Tree work near Road 350 will begin on Monday, October 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20BA

Route 20 (19.1/19.6) – Road work near Road 10 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C20IB

Route 20 (35.8) Road work at the Jct 20/101 Bridge will continue. A full on ramp closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C20TA

U.S. 101 (5/5.9) – Slide removal at Pieta Creek Bridge continues. Northbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101KC

U.S. 101 (14.4/16.4) – Bridge work at the Crawford Creek Bridge continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101GA 

U.S. 101 (15.3/16.4) – Bridge work near Henry Station Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101GA

U.S. 101 (23.4) – Road work continues in Ukiah at Route 222. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#101UB

U.S. 101 (24.5/25.7) – Fence work in Ukiah at the East Perkins Street Overcrossing continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#101UB 

U.S. 101 (25.7/27) – Bridge work in Ukiah from the Presswood Overhead Bridge to the Hensley Creek Undercrossing continues. Lane Closures will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#C101UB

U.S. 101 (42.4/43.5) – Road work south of Willits continues. A lane closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C101KA

U.S. 101 (42.4/46.4) – Southbound work along the Willits Bypass will occur. A lane closure will be in effect. Expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101RA

U.S. 101 (74.8/77.6) – Culvert work at Road 307 will begin on Monday, October 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C101CB

Route 162 (.6/.8) – Bridge work at Crawford Creek continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162GA

Route 162 (11/12.6) – Road work south of Dos Rios near the Rodeo Creek Bridge continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162IA

Route 253 (14.2/15) – Tree work will occur at the Robinson Creek Bridge on Wednesday, October 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P253AA

Route 271 (15.8/20.4) – Culvert work near Piercy south of Bear Pen Road to north of Exit 627 continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C271EA

Route 271 (17.8/18.3) – Road work south of Piercy at McCoy Creek will occur on Wednesday, October 12. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C271FA
