COVID Refuses to Go Away: A summary of the latest info locally and beyond

Vaccine injection

Seeing as how the novel coronavirus can’t decide if it’s more epidemic than endemic, or holding firm in the pandemic phase, we thought it prudent to give our readers a comprehensive update on the latest developments in COVID vaccine science, and on what cases in our community look like as the summer unfolds.  A few changes in the local COVID scene include Humboldt welcoming a new Public Health Officer, a vaccine available for tiny tots, a statement of concern from a collection of Nor Cal Health Officers, and a variant that may escape immune response.

Looking at the numbers of local deaths from COVID since the start of 2022, Humboldt County lost five fully vaccinated community members to the virus, and 23 community members who were “not fully vaccinated.”  Since data collection began, the county has tallied a total of 22 deaths in vaccinated individuals, far outnumbered by the 127 unvaccinated individual lives lost to COVID-19 across the county. Humboldt County‘s COVID-19 dashboard graph reflecting vaccinated and unvaccinated deaths shows that all 22 deaths of fully vaccinated residents occurred since June 2021. And during that same time period beginning June 1, 2021, 83 not fully vaccinated people have also died.

COVID deaths

While emerging science casts concerns over the ability of the virus to potentially evade antibodies, in the face of new Omicron variants boasting improved spike proteins, regional health officials have issued some advice and adjusted guidance in an effort to meet the moment, on the verge of a COVID’s third summer of unrelenting viral loads.

The most recent Public Health Order from CDPH makes an adjustment to the definition of a close contact in an effort to prevent any rise of hospitalizations and deaths resulting from increased COVID-19 community spread.  A public notice issued by RANCHO, the Rural Association of Northern California Health Officers, reiterated the concern surrounding fast-moving airborne Omicron subvariants widely circulating across the state.

The recently updated definition of a close contact now acknowledges that COVID-19 is an airborne disease, rather than one spread by respiratory droplets.  This distinction is of great importance when attempting to address the inadvertent spread of the virus in public spaces where many people are gathered. Because an airbourne virus is able to spread more easily, the probability of greater or even exponential community spread becomes more likely, and by clearly defining those scenarios where a person needs to prevent spread of the virus by isolating, health officials hope to limit community spread of the new Omicron variants.

The most recent Order by CDPH also states, “In addition, as the SARS-CoV-2 virus has recently evolved to have a shorter incubation period (e.g., average 2-3 days), CDPH recommendations regarding relevant time periods for restricting movement by quarantine have been updated to acknowledge this shorter period.” (See below) Looking to be proactive, community members can certainly maintain the early pandemic protocols of masking and physical distancing, as well as heed the advice of Public Health, which reiterates in the Order, “Unvaccinated persons continue to be more likely to get infected and spread the virus which is transmitted through the air and concentrates indoors.”

As mitigation methods have not vastly improved since the turn of the century, good old fashioned hand-washing and basic hygiene standards in combination with masking, distancing and plenty of ventilation are recommended.

“We must remain vigilant against variants of the disease especially given high levels of transmission in other parts of the world… COVID-19 remains a concern to public health and, in order to prevent its spread, limited and temporary public health requirements remain necessary at this time,” reads the CDPH Order issued June 8th, 2022.

RANCHO Recommends…

In response to the ongoing prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 in rural communities, the Rural Association of Northern California Health Officers (RANCHO) – comprised of 11 different Health Officers – has provided a press release highlighting current COVID concerns and how to handle the ongoing COVID-19 scourge of cases in the region.

Having seen in 2020 and in 2021 the ways in which COVID-19 was capable of impeding day-to-day functions of rural communities, RANCHO issued another press statement raising the alarm, as COVID continues to take a toll on local businesses and families as Northern California heads into a summer that was expected to bring reprieve from strict public health guidelines and give way to a more normal Nor Cal summer season of fairs and concerts, BBQs and Farmers Markets.

The report writes, “RANCHO counties are unique, apart from other rural areas in California, primarily due to our remote nature and mountainous terrain. As such, it is important that we take proactive measures to ensure our populations have the information they need to protect themselves, their loved ones, and their communities.”  Looking at an increase in cases, which has in the past routinely been followed by an increase in hospitalizations and in turn, deaths, RANCHO addressed the need for ongoing vigilance in the face of increased community spread at a time when people are enjoying summertime in northern Cali.

Noting that an increase in cases has been known to impact hospitals in the region, local schools which have struggled to comply with COVID-19 precautions for the safety of families, local businesses whose employees regularly fend off the virus while on duty, and, of course, congregate living settings such as our nursing homes, housing shelters, and jails, regional health officers felt compelled to issue a statement regarding the rapidly circulating Omicron variant.

The report states, “Northern California counties generally lag behind the rest of CA for increased cases.”  RANCHO notes that the evolving surge is attributed to newer variants of Omicron, which have been found to be even more easily passed from person to person than previously, with the BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants currently out and about in circulation.  “The emerging variants are proving to be highly infectious and able to infect vaccinated persons in larger numbers than previous variants.”

Addressing the question of vaccination, RANCHO wrote, “We also know that unvaccinated persons are 6 times more likely [to be] infected with COVID-19 and 9 times more likely to be hospitalized than vaccinated persons. Unvaccinated persons are also 11 times more likely [to die]  from COVID-19 complications than vaccinated persons.”

In regards to natural immunity, which is recognized by CDC as providing some protection to some variants, the written statement from RANCHO adds, “Although there is some immunity provided after infection, it is not sufficient to prevent spread or variant progression.” The statement emphasizes that vaccination is the most reliable protection against long COVID, hospitalization, and death, adding that people who “become infected and are vaccinated, or receive vaccination after infection are best protected to ward off immediate and long lasting COVID-19 complications, including severe illness, long COVID, hospitalization, and death.”

A screenshot reflecting data June 8th, 2022, presented by CDPH on the California COVID-19 Dashboard, showing Humboldt County’s current number of “COVID-19 hospitalized” patients, which began to spike in late May, and continued through June, and now July.

Reiterated by Humboldt County’s Public Health team which issues a weekly press release updating the public as to local COVID-19 stats and policy changes, if any, several of the recommendations coming from RANCHO in anticipation of summer in Rural Northern California addressed safety at public events and family gatherings.

According to a Humboldt County Press relapse dated July 6th, “During this wave of increased COVID-19 cases, your Northern California Health Officers recommend:

  • “Get Vaccinated and Boosted if you are eligible. Infants 6 months or older and toddlers are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Test before going to an indoors event or party or traveling on public transportation. If you have symptoms or test positive, stay home. Call your provider for effective treatments if you test positive for COVID-19.
  • Gather outdoors to make it harder for COVID-19 to spread to others.
  • Mask indoors in public places. Open windows to improve ventilation and upgrade HVAC filters to Merv 13 or the highest possible. Updated masking guidance from CDPH is recommended.”

This board includes Humboldt’s third Health Officer to grapple with the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Candy Stockton, who was named Humboldt County’s new Health Officer recently, and is expected to get started officially some time in the next week or two, according to the press release announcing her hiring.  Dr. Stockton hails from Humboldt County as a fourth-generation local, and is board certified in Family and Addiction Medicine. She also served as the Medical Director for Shingletown Medical Center in Shasta County for nine years, so she is not unfamiliar with rural healthcare, and she has spent nearly five years as the Chief Medical Officer for the Humboldt Independent Practice Association in Eureka.

COVID-19 VARIANTS OF OMICRON VARIANTS

In an article pre-published this week, currently in peer review process, the journal Nature published a scientific review in a report titled Antibody evasion by SARS-CoV-2 Omicron subvariants BA.1.12.1, BA.4 and BA.5.

Which suggested that Omicron variants are capable of “immune escape,” a term that describes the virus’ ability to dodge neutralizing antibodies from vaccination, and likely from previous infection.

Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology News analyzed the finds presented in the study titled “Antibody evasion by SARS-CoV-2 Omicron subvariants BA.2.12.1, BA.4, & BA.5” and quotes Doctor Eric Topol saying, “[T]he Omicron sub-variant BA.5 is the worst version of the virus that we’ve seen.”

According to the July 7 article, the online scientific news source writes, “The latest omicron subvariants of SARS-CoV-2—including BA.4 and BA.5—now make up the majority of COVID-19 cases being sequenced in the United States.”  In comparison to previous strains of COVID-19, these Omicron variants are creating debate as to how an influx of undetected cases may impact communities with limited access to medical infrastructure.

In regard to the new variants and their apparent ability to skirt antibody response, the article points out, “It takes immune escape…already extensive, to the next level, and, as a function of that, enhanced transmissibility—well beyond Omicron (BA.1) and other Omicron family variants that we’ve seen.”

According to the research presented in Nature, a team of experts on infectious disease and immunology including David D. Ho, MD, director of the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center and professor of medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, “studied the ability of antibodies from individuals who received at least three doses of an mRNA vaccine, or got two shots and were then infected with omicron, to neutralize the new subvariants.”

The report, steeped in scientific terminology and unfamiliar acronyms, states clearly in the Abstract, “These novel subvariants carrying additional mutations in their spike proteins raise concerns that they may further evade neutralizing antibodies, thereby further compromising the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutic monoclonals.”

The suspected reason for this new and dangerous ability to spread is attributed to the additional mutations in their spike proteins, which have been “hypothesized to allow the variants to further evade neutralizing antibodies,” according to the article.

LOCAL DATA & VACCINE UPDATE

Meanwhile, to focus locally, Humboldt has been coping with a surge of positive cases spanning several local communities impacting social gatherings and private business as people find themselves ill or identifiably exposed to a confirmed case of COVID-19.

From Starbucks to the the county courthouse, locals are feeling the pressure of an ongoing case surge which began in late May, and continues to circulate in the community while summer fun is being had, pandemic-era guards are being lowered and masklessness has become increasingly more regular in public.

A graph presented by Humboldt County’s COVID-19 Dashboard shows the current spike in cases rivaling the Omicron surge of early 2022.  Screengrab July 8, 2022.

Looking at the local data reflecting case counts, there was a sharp increase of COVID-19 cases detected in June, closely followed by a relative increase in hospitalizations.  While the vaccination train keeps chugging along, with the booster shot caboose still trailing behind, local residents are now able to vaccinate children at the age of 6 months and up.  The county offers free vaccination, and plans to offer “Public Health young child clinics” in order to make these vaccine doses available to families with young children.

Although hesitation is being expressed by some parents in regard to vaccinating young children, the FDA stated that the vaccine is safe, and touts its effectiveness.

FDA Commissioner Robert M. Califf, M.D. said, “Many parents, caregivers and clinicians have been waiting for a vaccine for younger children and this action will help protect those down to 6 months of age.  As we have seen with older age groups, we expect that the vaccines for younger children will provide protection from the most severe outcomes of COVID-19, such as hospitalization and death.”  The FDA Commissioner added, “Those trusted with the care of children can have confidence in the safety and effectiveness of these COVID-19 vaccines and can be assured that the agency was thorough in its evaluation of the data.”

The new baby vaccine, Pfizer’s three-dose vaccination series for children age 6 months to 4 years and Moderna’s two-dose vaccination series for children age 6 months to 5 years “has generated immunity at levels similar to the immune responses seen among young adults,” according to a press release from Humboldt County Public Health.

Parents can also contact their family pediatrician or health care provider to set up an appointment or learn more about vaccine options. Pharmacies are not authorized to vaccinate children ages 2 and under.  More information about both vaccines is available at vaccinateall58.com

PROBABLE COVID, OR FOR SURE COVID?

For the purposes of understanding updated terminology related to categorization of COVID illness in the population – going into the third summer of COVID-impacted activities – it is good to know what may be considered an official case of the Rona, and how to best avoid it putting a damper on your summer plans.

New standards were established this year, helping to clarify what would be considered a “probable” or likely case of COVID-19 in an individual, as opposed to those cases that have been deemed “confirmed cases” in the community.

A COVID case may be considered “probable” if any of the following fit the scenario:

  • “If a person tests positive via antigen (Ag) test for COVID-19,
  • If a person has been diagnosed with COVID-19 disease by a health care provider,
  • If a person has symptoms of COVID-19 disease after being directly exposed or were in close proximity to a person having a PCR-confirmed test result,
  • Or, If a person whose death certificate lists COVID-19 as a cause or significant contributing factor of their death, in the absence of a positive PCR test result.”

For clarification, the California Department of Public Health’s recommendations on isolation and quarantine for community members infected with, or exposed to COVID-19, a “Close Contact”  is defined as “someone sharing the same indoor airspace (e.g., home, clinic waiting room, airplane etc.) for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period (for example, three individual 5-minute exposures for a total of 15 minutes) during an infected person’s (laboratory-confirmed or a clinical diagnosis) infectious period.”

Then, if you are in that category of exposure, and therefore need to isolate or quarantine, the “Infectious Period” is defined differently depending on your level of exposure.

For example, with symptomatic and infected persons, the “infectious period includes 2 days before the infected person had any symptoms through Day 10” after symptoms began to appear, “or through Days 5-10 if testing negative on Day 5 or later, and 24 hours have passed with no fever,” apart from fever-reducing medications, and that symptoms have improved, or in the al;ternative, “for asymptomatic infected persons, 2 days before the positive specimen collection date through Day 10 after positive specimen collection date (or through Days 5-10 if testing negative on Day 5 or later) after specimen collection date for their first positive COVID-19 test.”

Also, for purposes of contact tracing potential exposures, “infected persons who test negative on or after Day 5 and end isolation are no longer considered to be within their infectious period.” It is still recommended that those folks continue to follow CDPH isolation recommendations, “including wearing a well-fitting face mask through Day 10.”

An official case of COVID-19 is considered confirmed only after “positive PCR test results or detection of SARS-CoV-2 by genomic sequencing” and so, does at a minimum, require a PCR test like the ones available at no cost from the county, like at the Wharfinger Building in Eureka, where walk-ins are welcome, and PCR as well as rapid testing is available on a first-come first-served basis.

Times and locations of testing sites can be found here, and vaccination clinics are updated and listed in each press release, here, as well as by appointment.

“We thought it prudent to give our readers a comprehensive update on the latest developments in COVID vaccine science, ”

If anyone is serious about learning something about covid, I highly recommend you listen to Dr ZEV Zelenkos interview with Mista Jones.
Listen to Dr MacCULOUGH, listen to Dr Robert Malone. DR YEADON, as well.

Listen to Catherine Austin Fitts, as she breaks down the CBDC’s and how getting the general population used to routine injections, that essential has very little to do with health.

Call me crazy, but at least I can say my intuition about trusting strangers with no personal stake in my personal well being, has proven to be the best method for staying healthy.

Frankly I’m more concerned with unelected and unaccountable people making decisions they’ve got no business making.

Elite Capture, and the merger of corpus and machina.

Joe Biden’s new “woke” military recruitment is at only 40% of annual goal with less than three months left and now they’ve furloughed 60,000 national guard for not getting the ineffective vaccine even as we’re sending all our weapons reserves to Ukraine. I’m left wondering if Biden’s Knights of the Liberal World Order will be capable of defending America, or we simply capitulate when confronted by China? Is that Joe’s plan?

I have listened to all of them and disagree with them on one thing…that COVID itself is a novel virus that has been isolated and shown to make people sick. NO studies exist in which a virus thought to be covid-19 was PURIFIED and inserted into healthy human cells which then made those cells sick. Electronmicoscropy is only an image and looks very similar to particles that poisoned cells produce as the body cleans itself of poison, called exosomes. Most of the experts you mention seem to be limited hangouts employed in the field of virology, but they all have valid information especially when it comes to the vaccines. In fact virology itself is a relatively new theory that has served Big Pharma well. All that money spent on making vaccines and chemo drugs (where is our cure for cancer????) when they could spend that money looking into what is poisoning us and cleaning that up. Forinstance, once DDT use (even spraying children and neighborhoods with the toxic crap) was stopped, polio was on the way out…BEFORE the vaccine. And as for cancer, all you people are worried about covid but disgard the exponentially rising cancer cases since the economies of the world were opened after being closed for scamdemic. We should be studying that! Anyway, Corporate Serfdom…thanks for sharing the names of experts who have a contrarian view one will not hear on the mainstream news. But those too afraid to question their masters will continue OBEY and call us conspiracy theorists and be told what to think by the fact checkers…idiocracy!

Speaking of cancer,
“More than 80% of urine samples drawn from children and adults in a US health study contained a weedkilling chemical linked to cancer, a finding scientists have called “disturbing” and “concerning”.
The report by a unit of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found that out of 2,310 urine samples, taken from a group of Americans intended to be representative of the US population, 1,885 were laced with detectable traces of glyphosate. This is the active ingredient in herbicides sold around the world, including the widely used Roundup brand. Almost a third of the participants were children ranging from six to 18.“
More than 200 million pounds of glyphosate are used annually by US farmers on their fields. The weedkiller is sprayed directly over genetically engineered crops such as corn and soybeans, and also over non-genetically engineered crops such as wheat and oats as a desiccant to dry crops out prior to harvest. Many farmers also use it on fields before the growing season, including spinach growers and almond producers. It is considered the most widely used herbicide in history.
Residues of glyphosate have been documented in an array of popular foods made with crops sprayed with glyphosate, including baby food. The primary route of exposure for children is through the diet.
.
Monsanto and the company that bought it in 2018, Bayer, have maintained that glyphosate and Roundup products are safe, and that residues in food and in human urine are not a health risk.
They are at odds with many researchers and the International Agency for Research on Cancer, a unit of the World Health Organization, which classified glyphosate as a probable human carcinogen in 2015.
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has taken the opposite stance, classifying glyphosate as not likely to be carcinogenic. But last month a federal appeals court issued an opinion vacating the agency’s safety determination and ordering the agency to give “further consideration” to evidence of glyphosate risks.“

If liberals had their way, this chemical would be banned. But then we as a nation could no longer produce the obscene amount of ag products that we currently export to other nations. That would harm our economy and leave certain other nations hurting for food.
Yet both side of the isle will tell you that over population is not a problem.

Glyphosate is explicitly not necessary to produce sufficient food to meet our needs and to export some. It’s a key component in the specific way that we have collectively chosen to structure our contemporary food infrastructure.

It’s primary role is to mask the deeper problems caused by the vertical corporate food production model, but it’s own contributions to the systemic issue of soil health are quickly making it uneconomic. Many farmers concerned about their physical and financial health are already finding a better life without that particular toxic chemical

Yep. Covid is definitely here to stay. It’s sure to become one of our annual illnesses like flu and cold season. People need to accept that fact and get their annual Covid vaccine along with their flu shot and maintain good health habits: frequent hand washing, staying home when sick, and managing symptoms to decrease severity and length of illness. And yes, there will always be those who are risk of severe complications, the elderly and the immunocompromised will bear the most risk.

My only wish is that people would stop overreacting to Covid. The BA2 variant doesn’t carry the same risk of mortality as the virus that first emerged in 2019. Locking down schools and workplaces in response to a positive case needs to end. Some of the hysteria I’ve seen in my occupation reminds me of the attitude towards AIDS back in the 80’s. Yes, Covid is nothing to ignore, but it’s not nearly as deadly as before and that fact needs to be acknowledged.

Personally…I’ve never done the annual flu shots. No debate..that in places like retirement homes… flu shots are a life saver. Was over seas..took all those… did all the gamma glob series for hep… mortician work.. did the two shingles shots. Didn’t do the mRNAs… my system is pretty allergic to any of the blood pressure meds.. any of the cholesterol meds…severe reactions.

So.. any possible vascular irritant… I’m not a good candidate for that. That’s just my bod…others will undoubtedly have no problems. If people observe common sense like hand washing..spreading out…and common courtesy like not going around others when they feel sick.. seems the hysteria will end.

Closing down business.. taking people’s jobs for being non mRNA… pretty tyrannical. I lost my job per those rules… lots of us no longer participate in certain occupations per the jab rule.

Hmmm…. sounds like you are saying that you endothelially reactive/sensitive. It isn’t talked about much but if you look at Covid’s pathway into everyone infected and its destructive journey through the bodies of those most adversely affected by it, I think it would be fairly easy to make the case that Covid is an endothelial disease. Covid enters the host through insufflation and finds egress in the endo lining of the sinus and/or lungs… from there the poor outcome of the disease state invariably follows endothelially mediated events of hyper-inflammation response- cytokine storms, dis-regulation of clotting response, etc. If you are endothelially hyper-reactive please be extra careful out there.

Anyone with any sense will stay far far away from the vaccines, including flu and pneumonia. COVID-19 is a computer franken-sequenced virus that has never been isolated/purified and shown to cause healthy human cell lysis. Read the studies carefully, use a medical dictionary if you do not understand the terms…inserting a substance produced by various means and additions of other substances into green monkey cells (not human) or cancer cells (not healthy) is not isolating a virus and proving it causes illness. You are being scammed. As for the stats produced here being used to push vaccines…one might better ask the ages and heath status of those they claim to have died from COVID-19 and the treatment the patients received. Now those stats I would like to see. Ya’ll know that isolated stats can be used to suggest anything one wants people to believe. As for covid never going away….well as long as people test for it it will not go away. Kary Mullis, the PCR test’s inventor, who won a Nobel Prioze for Chemistry for its invention stated definitively that the test CANNOT and was not designed to detect a viral infection.

All your buddy doctors and nurses , in lock-step with other doctors and nurses, whose collective goof ups are the third leading cause of death? Yes. They’re scamming you and can’t be trusted.

Advocating for yourself (in any medical setting, and in life) is the responsible and prudent thing to do. It can literally save your life. They routinely get it wrong as evidenced by a mountain of blunders associated solely with Sars! The list is endless.

Health providers and “health officials” who have devoted no study to nutrition and nature’s ways, and typically present as hefty XXL, pale, sedentary know-it-alls, all work in health care to make money, and to fill their “treatment”-making cohorts coffers with money, and lot$ of it, are not to be given your faith! The expectation that we should all heed their idiotic warnings and shifting protocols based on badly manipulated data is hilarious.

Critical thinking is dead. Regardless of the fancy new press release dumbing down the definitions for pandemic and endemic etc, Fauci’s fun lab experiment is endemic. It has been for about a year.

The vaccines have accomplished nothing but generate more pressure and in turn spawn the hyper-contagious and immune evading variants. Just like Luc Montagnier (RIP) warned. No surprise. Y’all got just what you wanted.

And they continue to foist the vaccines on everyone, including innocent zero-risk “tiny tots,” because at $20 an injection (add to that an office visit they can bill out for) big pharma and the health care industry at large, is rolling in billions and billions and billions! $196B initial contracts, plus $5b for paxlovid roll out and another $3b to Pfizer just last week. That’s OUR money, our children’s future they are pissing away. AND everyone is still getting sick !! Hahahaha ? if it wasn’t true it would be comedy. I laugh to keep from crying. It’s a damn tragedy.

…what… about 1/4 of the medical staff left their jobs rather than take the jab? San Diego police taking a 22% hit in staffing… 40K plus military Budgetary problems for hospitals in particular. Regular nurse..maybe $60 an hour…traveling nurse… more like $100 plus an hour… pilots are on the protest..the ones that didn’t get sick or quit…
Local hospital system allows the religious exemption…but you have to work remote. Not allowed on the campus in non mRNA. Kind of hard to ICU nurse… from the keyboard at home…

It is “quite obvious” that it is you who does not understand biology (or medicine) given your complete absence of any counter argument whatsoever. Pretty hilarious coming from someone who believes “overpopulation” is a problem in the face of declining birth rates.

Do you ever stop to ask the methodology they used to generate these bullshit numbers or do you just blindly trust them despite their other shitty track record predictions, along with every other overpopulation scare monger who has been MASSIVELY wrong?

It is definitely much better to trust a guy who goes by the name of rollin on the internet than the hundreds of scientists who think the population growth is a problem…
Here’s what one demographer said:
“A new statistical projection concludes that the world population is unlikely to level off during the 21st century, leaving the planet to deal with as many as 13 billion human inhabitants—4 billion of those in Africa—by 2100. The analysis, formulated by U.N. and University of Washington (UW), Seattle, researchers, is the first of its kind to use modern statistical methods rather than expert opinions to estimate future birth rates, one of the determining factors in population forecasts.
“The U.N. in the past has been criticized for not doing complete statistics on their data and now they’ve done it exactly right,” says demography researcher John Bongaarts, vice president of the Population Council in New York City, who was not involved in the new work.” https://www.science.org/content/article/experts-be-damned-world-population-will-continue-rise

The world is already overpopulated. Birth rates have declined, it’s true. It used to be 5 kids per family. It’s still above replacement rate. World population is currently 7.6 billion. It’s projected to reach 9.8 billion in 2050, and 11.2 billion in 2100. It was 2 billion in 1900. That should scare the shit out of any thinking person, considering dwindling food, energy, forests, etc etc…..

World food reserves are at an all-time low. Starvation is happening. The idea that the earth is this bottomless well of food, energy and resources is very advantageous to the robber barons who only care about making a buck today and to hell with tomorrow. And they are very good at selling this notion via overpopulation denial.
How many people can you fit in your house? I say maybe 4 or 5 comfortably. You say, hell, there’s plenty of room for 40 people. Sure, but what kind of a life will they, and you have?

What they are saying about overpopulation is what they are legislating about cattle, today in parts of Europe. Cattle will be euthanized because of its perceived damage to the environment, instead of a source of food for millions/billions.

I guess many can’t connect those dots.

the countries with the biggest projected gains – and losses – by 2100Here’s how the list of the 10 most populous countries in the world has changed since 1950 – and how it is projected to change again by 2100:
comment imageAfrica’s rapid population growth is one of the dominant stories to emerge from the UN’s projections. Of the six countries that are projected to account for more than half of all world population growth by 2100, five are in Africa, as a previous Pew Research Center analysis noted. Half the world’s babies will be born in Africa by 2100, up from three-in-ten today.

One thing you could infer is that growing population in so-called third world countries will impact “1st world” countries. People will try to escape poverty and famine by flooding across borders into Europe and North America, which of course has been happening for years and is only getting worse. The US adds a city the size of San Francisco (in numbers) every year, impacting the environment, infrastructure and resources of this country. Even if our own reproductive level here is in control, we are now and will continue to be absorbing desperate people trying to save themselves from….too many people.

It didn’t just stop killing a huge chunk of people in 1353. The 16th and 17th centuries saw some huge breakouts in Europe. like the Great Plague of London (which wasn’t confined to London) is estimated to have killed around 25% of the population of London. in 1665/66.
Of course, after the “great plague of London” came the “great fire of London” in 1666. 🙂

Ryan Hutson,

Very nice article.

I really enjoy how well you write them.

I just have one question…

Why did you choose June 21, 2021 as a starting point for your second comparison.

I do realize that in the first vaxxed vs unvaxxed death comparison, “unvaccinated” deaths from before vaccine rollout were also included…

So any deaths from before vaccine rollout, and/or the point of even one person being even possibly considered “fully vaccinated”, (5 weeks later), should be removed from the vaxxed vs unvaxxed comparison…

Just a thought…

In a comment from long ago, maybe October of 2021, ( I couldn’t find it), I made a similar comparison to yours…

I tried to put the vaxxed vs unvaxxed deaths comparison’ beginning at the point of 50% vaccination rate in Humboldt, plus “lag time”…

I seem to recall it being coincidentally the same date as the first vaccinated death in Humboldt County…

That was on August 25th, 2021

Thanks for the great article…

I didn’t get to finish it, but I definitely will!

And I will keep looking for that old comment, it had the other vaxxed vs unvaxxed deaths comparison…

For what it’s worth…

Thanks, Guest. I appreciate your feedback and attention to detail! To answer your question as to why that June 2021 date was chosen, that is roughly when vaccines became widely available to the mainstream. The only deaths prior to that date range were of people “not fully vaccinated” while the vaccine rollout, as you will recall, was in full swing by summertime in 2021. So, that’s what we were looking at for that data, and why the graph is adjusted to reflect that time span.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the article!

Thank you.

My point was that we shouldn’t overlook the fact that 24 of those deaths happened before even one person in Humboldt could have possibly been fully vaccinated.

So, your estimate would just change to 22 of 123. (18%)

(About 1 out of 5.6 deaths.)

Interestingly…

My estimate way back then, 7 of 35, was (20%) vaxxed deaths. (1 of 5).

And currently, yours is 22 of 105, (21%)

(Slightly over 1 in 4.8)

All of these estimates are actually pretty consistent.?

They keep leaving out that even if vaccinated you can still catch and transmit the virus.
From this quote they are still grouping unvaccinated with Partially vaccinated. This skews the data.
“Humboldt County‘s COVID-19 dashboard graph reflecting vaccinated and unvaccinated deaths shows that all 22 deaths of fully vaccinated residents occurred since June 2021. And during that same time period beginning June 1, 2021, 83 not fully vaccinated people have also died.”

Yes, being vaccinated has given people a false sense of security. Not only can they still catch and transmit it, they are more likely to be asymptomatic and not even know they are doing it. I think that is a big factor in the current spread.
Think carefully about giving this experimental vaccine to your young children. It has not been properly vetted for that age group, and they have very little chance of severe Covid. The pharma companies have negotiated “no fault” clauses-why do you think that is? Pfizer and Moderna are raking in $50 billion/year. Shoulda bought stock, I guess.

These vaccines don’t stop the spread all the friends I know who have been vaccinated have given Covid to a friend or family member. These vaccines aren’t the answer unfortunately. How many vaccines are they gonna force on everyone…. Mandating vaccines for health care workers and you wonder why our clinics and hospitals are under staffed? “Masked up” — doesn’t work as proven by SCIENCE. “Shots like most normal smart people”—-there we go again, playing with words to insinuate that the non compliant are abnormal and stupid. A typical liberal tactic and it really bothers you guys that we just told them to fuk off and will not listen to their orders and dictats. And that is the best part, democrats are pissed we told them to go screw themselves. Yes! Get used to it, more of the same is coming every time an unconstitutional order comes from the powers that be, we will not comply, we will resist, you are not our master, we don’t answer to frauds drunk on power. So move on and leave it alone. Suffer the consequences for your choices to get gene therapy. I won’t because I researched the subject using SCIENCE. Easy peezy. The mRNA shot is not a vaccine, it is an experimental gene therapy with future effects on the human body unknown at this point in time. Just call it Brandom roulette, where the house always wins.

Too bad for you that you think not getting vaccinated prevents having your DNA altered. This virus itself has a much better chance at changing up your DNA because it can virtually infect and splice in it’s DNA in every cell than an mRNA vaccine could never reach. That is how it reproduces. That is how it has it has created variants. If you’re infected, there’s already a billion little RNA experiments in reverse transcriptions- both with your DNA and with other viruses you carry- going on in your body right now. The mRNA vaccine lacks viruses ability to do it and, while the chances are never absolute zero, it is so much lower than what happens with natural infection, the number can’t be measured.

When you do your “scientific” research through stupid anti vaxxer sites, you are compounding their ignorance. You get told of all the possible horrors vaccines theoretically- and most of that is piss poor theorizing at that- and you become totally blind to the fact that getting vaccinated reduces the chance of reverse transcription that covid is likely to do. You, to use the old seatbelt analogy, are choosing to avoid inury caused by seatbelts in a crash by increasing the injuries from everything else. It is a poor bet.

(I have a hard time accepting that as truth…)

More infectious, maybe.

Or is BA.5 just the “worst” variant of the “Omicron” variant?

Ambiguous fluff! It’s everywhere. To me it illustrates the low intellect they assume everyone has. All the stats, and dates for reporting have all been skewed and are incongruent, but they have to do that to spit-shine up the disasterous vaxxed data. And hyperbolic language like the “worst, ” that’s akin to using “very” as an adjective.
It’s unimaginative and boring, and tells the reader nothing. But from what I see, not everyone is catching the obvious discrepancies. People actually gobble it up, and repeat it!

Who is giving any thought to the scores of people who battle with the covid unreported? Unvaxxed. They should be dead, or intubated, right? Somehow they aren’t. So weird. They were supposed die. That data is not considered at all. Never even mentioned. Because if it is, that fouls up their barely semi-glowing reports .

I’m so full up with all this balcony and people’s hyper-focus on a donut-fueled “health” campaign whose ultimate goal is to have everyone brainwashed into staring down the needle of a syringe. For everything! Get line for your flu vax, shingrex, pneumonia, and what-not. It’s mental. The premise of the entire Covid-19 campaign has been a smoke and mirrors circus, and the obedience cult is just a bizarre form of religion at this point.

This explains free covid test to treat in Ca.:

https://covid19.ca.gov/get-tested/

We showed up at the test site and got tested, got the test results back, were authorized to call a doc who prescribed Paxlovid to treat Covid, and were able to fill that prescription at the test site and take the Paxlovid home with us.

The whole process took 3 hours and was free.

If you are going to do this, you have to go in asap after 1st get covid symptoms cuz they will treat you only in the 1st few days since your symptoms appeared.

I’m over on the anti lung inflam page…iver/hcq ..etc…with zink, quer….. vit c…vit d… quinine… all that. The non jab slug it out page.
