The Grand Jury report should have been released after the election, at the same time the SCO final report was released, so it didn’t affect the election results.

Regardless of whether or not the SCO report reflects on Paz Dominguez positively or negatively, it’s delayed timing to avoid being influential on a democratic election is most appropriate.

That cannot be said for “The Good Old Boy Club” Grand Jury Report.
The timing of that reports release was totally despicable.

I can’t help but notice the timing of the confidential SCO preliminary report, and Ford’s announcement that he will continue to be employed by Humboldt County.

Sounds like someone leaked the contents of the confidential report already.

Seems like a bit too much of a coincidence.

The mailed ballots were the vast majority of the votes cast here. Likely the people who voted for Dillingham by mail did so before the local newspapers published their articles about the report. The Superior Court approved the report six days before the election. What legitimate reason would there be to sit on information the public has every right to know?

Paz Dominguez only got 22% of the votes in her race, yikes! Looks like Humboldt voters were paying attention, nice.
