Want to Dance at Obon? Free Japanese Festival Dance Classes Start July 5 in Arcata

Humboldt Asian Pacific Islanders (HAPI) offers classes in Japanese festival dancing in preparation for the Fifth Annual Humboldt Obon Festival.

Dances will be taught Sundays and Mondays, starting July 5 at 6 p.m. at the Redwood Raks Collective Jade Studio, 824 L Street in the Creamery Building in Arcata.

All are welcome. Dance accessories will be provided. You don’t need a partner or special shoes.
