Inmate Convicted of Humboldt County Murder Describes Killing Two Child Molesters to News Organization
Jonathan Watson
Jonathan Watson, a Shasta County man, convicted of killing 27-year-old Garrett Benson, a Humboldt County resident, during a marijuana ripoff in 2008 and accused by Cochran Corcoran prison authorities last month of killing two child molesters has confessed in a letter to a news organization.
Watson allegedly attacked and killed David Bobb, age 48 on January 16. At the same time he critically injured Graham De Luis-Conti, age 62. De Luis-Conti succumbed to his injuries on January 19.
According to the article in the Mercury News,
In his letter, Watson said that after warning [a] counselor he might turn violent, he returned to his pod. “I was mulling it all over when along came Molester #1 and he put his TV right on PBS Kids again,” he wrote. “But this time, someone else said something to the effect of ‘Is this guy really going to watch this right in front of us?’ and I recall saying, ‘I got this.’ And I picked up the cane and went to work on him.”
Afterwards, Watson said he left the pod to find a guard and turn himself in. On the way, he encountered his second victim, and decided to kill again. “As I got to the lower tier, I saw a known child trafficker, and I figured I’d just do everybody a favor,” Watson wrote. “In for a penny, in for a pound.”
Watson’s letter to the news group said that after the brutal beatings didn’t attract attention he found a guard and told him what had happened.

the true story was he was caught in bed on his 18th bday with his girlfriend, the chp dispatchers 17 year old daughter. He was in jail for 4 months wearing an orange wristband marking him a child molester.
That’s not the case here at all. Both “victims” had extremely awful predator charges. I understand where you’re coming from, but this guy actually did everyone a favor in my opinion. As a recovering victim of serious abuse, it sure makes me happy (not) to know that so many angry people would have had my back from the comfort their living room. My primary abuser was my mother so I really wouldn’t have benefited from her murder. LOVE and care to all of you who are doing the hard work of healing from whatever abuse or trauma you’ve suffered. 1) Get this guy’s commissary info and “keep his books fat for life”. Or pick some other inmate convicted of similar (I know you can find some– there’s at least one guy I know of doing life in Nevada for killing his daughters’ molester).
2) Contribute to your local domestic violence non-profit. They deal with this shit all the time.
With the way they are letting anyone and everyone out of prison now a days I believe option 1 is the best bet
This happens so much more often than people realize. “Child molester” covers a large range of people. This guys is accused of raping the children; that’s a far cry from molesting your child affectionately or sleeping with your under-age girlfriend. They may all be wrong, but they are not all worthy of murder.

Not to offend, but take a step back to review what a Veteran is. All due respect, a veteran is who our government has decided is a sanctioned murderer for some “values” that particular government says it’s ok to kill for. “Veteran” includes a large swath of our society. I sure don’t know the original circumstances, but his time in jail is being served either way he had nothing to lose, but it doesn’t exonerate his original crime. But I just needed to remind us all that wrapped up under that flag somewhere, a Vet’s previous job was to go kill future Veterans of another country.

This is not a sports competition where fans cheer their chosen on to victory. This is ugliness where there is NO one to back. It is very possible to despise all the players in prison soap operas, who certainly have already made clear they despise those who live inside the law. No one forced the inmates to commit the crimes that landed them into confinement with similar people. They chose that even if they later object to the consequences. A grudging allowance that, as long as they behaved with malice anyway, at least the target of their malice was universally hated is not approval. It’s more like resignation that it could have been worse.

Most children are molested by relatives. Frankly it’s not just priests but any exposure of children to adult males will lead to some childhood rape. I remember a psychiatrist telling me once that authorities of any kind can be dangerous for children. That man could scare someone to death just by looking at them. There is one person I’d like to kill slowly and painfully but I never would. I hate him but I’d never stand in judgement in that way and I’d never leave my family. Most molesters are never caught, even if the child tells and the police are called. Epd can take over a year to file the report with the DA after which the DA says I can’t win a he said she said case. I wanted to kill in that moment but my childs abuser was not on my mind at that moment. People elected him to do a job but instead of doing it he fucked a victim as sure as any child molester ever has. The current DA did the same thing. I think the whole argument is ridiculous, anyone who believes a child molester/trafficker’s life is worth anything is perverted in there own right. In biblical times the punishment matched the crime, I think the world would be much more balanced if it went back to those ways. As a father I can sleep easier knowing the world has two less degenerates in it. I don’t condone his taking the life of someone over weed, but if your in that world you gotta know it could happen.
