Two Helicopters Buzzing SoHum Today

PG&E Patrol

Two helicopters are flying low over Garberville this morning. Both appear to be connected to PG&E power line surveys.

The underside of one chopper is marked as PG&E Patrol

The other marked N55TV flew north this morning from a Sonoma County airport and is owned by a private helicopter company, Rotorcraft Support, Inc. We’re not sure why it is here but likely it is flying power lines also. The Ojai Valley News reported it was surveying power lines there in November.

Sometimes we joke about doing a FOIA to camp for all the photos they have of 30 years of all of us naked in our gardens 🙂
I remember attempting to hide while naked in my corn patch and the chopper so low I could see the pilot laughing.

It would be nice if PGE could explain why they hammer places with no power with the choppers. Is there law enforcement ride-alongs?
