A focus on some positives with a vigilant COVID mentality

I am positive, of two things:

The Navajo Nation is suffering extra, due to their insufficient access to water and sanitation, added to close living situations, as a result of the Federal Government’s neglect:

And, with regard to the apparent source of infection, care homes are finally revealed by cases in staff and residents:

Obviously, care home residents may have been infected by caregivers, who also spread the infection among the general population, and most probably well before testing was instituted…

If we want to shelter, or use PPE in public, we should, but it should be voluntary! After the genie is out, it’s very hard to put it back…

In the absence of a vaccine, herd immunity will occur when adequate numbers have been exposed, and only then. Herd mentality is what you get by stirring the fears of the population, and then cowing the population to go and hide. Clearly, the government is losing control! Today’s news exposes the officials as frauds.

I am positive this virus will run it’s course, and then disappear. I am positive it has been with us much longer than was surmised by the government. I am positive that healthcare workers are assisting the spread of this virus, both through the use of “travelers” in many locations, and poorly supported low paid care home employees.

The exposure of healthcare continues, and it’s pretty shocking that this disease appears to have originated, in our country, in Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Our government has positively not told us the whole story

Let’s see, and what is it you do in Willow Creek? Do you grow Marijuana, for folks to inhale into their lungs? Is that your great big pot farm, out there by the river? How do you make your living, sir?

Do you disagree that Native Americans folks in Northeast Arizona have to haul their all water, use outhouses, live on pieces of property in large numbers, share space with multiple generations? Have you been there?

You may not agree with a few things, and I have noticed that you seldom agree with sensible folks, but you need to accept that our government has ruined healthcare by failing to fund it and by failing to maintain a system that requires that citizens pay taxes to support it. When I was a kid, Doctors had private practices, hospitals were locally owned, Medicare paid the bill, Medicaid paid for the poor, and, insurance paid for those who worked.

Now, hospitals are owned by corporations, doctors work for corporations, and medicare and insurance leave the patient holding an ever increasing share of the bill, along with large premiums for “supplemental” and “prescription” and “extra” insurance, using a scheme that nobody understands…

Our hospitals are run for profit, not for patient care, they are all understaffed, and few Native-Born Americans even WANT to be a doctor any more! Patients are now seen by “Midlevels”, who are pretty much all you are going to get, in remote locations like Eureka, and, the corporations hire damn few “providers” at all, as few as they can get away with, and the only program that actually pays the bill, Medicaid, provides a situation where all providers available are overrun by patients who use the system, basically, as entertainment, and pay nothing, while patients who need services and can pay, wait for an appointment, or can’t find a provider at all!

The current situation with C-19, resulted from the government pumping fear, primarily to avoid huge costs, and by offering “payments”, unemployment, and, by keeping public servants on the payrolls. We have been sold a load of crap, since nobody actually knew how the virus would behave, and since scientific models were disregarded in the face of lack of testing materials, actual antibody tests, and lack of a working vaccine. Meanwhile, large numbers of people were exposed, and became immune.

C-19 causes a mild infection that healthy people recover from easily. It is estimated that over 40% of people don’t have any symptoms at all. Some do have a mild to moderate illness, and a small percentage will develop the pneumonia syndrome, usually the older, weaker, more fragile individuals, and those with various serious co-occurring conditions. Some will expire.

There was never any reason to shut down the entire country! There was never any reason to assume that places like Trinity County, Lake County, Modoc County or Humboldt county would have as big of a problem with this virus, as Los Angeles, New York or Santa Clara…

Our government has created an environment of fear, frenzy and chaos. The response of gloving and masking was much too late and completely under-supplied! We have been spoon-fed nonsense, and, our government can’t even reliably administer a program to distribute cash, much less anything else, as a response to the situation! Did you get a payment? I sure didn’t…

Senior Citizens are bearing the brunt, meanwhile! Wigged out people are fussing about “all the cars on the road” and their neighbors who are perceived to “not be sheltering in place”, while houses are being built, “essential” workers are going to work, and life is going on pretty much as usual… You would have to leave Willow Creek to see this, of course!

So, who is wearing a mask/gloves? Practically nobody. Who is staying at home? Retired people. Has travel shut down? No. Are the hospitals fully staffed, well funded, standing by with all essential supplies and equipment? Hardly. In fact they are letting people go, all over the country, to save money…

So what don’t you agree with, other than to say that YOU don’t want to get sick, and that everyone else should comply with all governmental orders, in one of the most lawless counties in the US?
