[UPDATE 11:43 a.m.] Two Semi Crash Blocking Hwy 101 North of Willits
A crash involving two semi trucks and a van is completely blocking Hwy 101 north of Willits, according to a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol speaking this morning by phone. The three way collision occurred about 8:15 a.m.
“At the soonest [reopening the road] would be hour,” explained the officer about 8:45 a.m. making an educated guess on how long it would take to allow traffic to resume through the area.
An ambulance is responding to the scene but the injuries are not believed to be serious.
One of the trucks is a logging truck with a full load and this could take some time to clear.
UPDATE 10:40 a.m.: Operations to remove the trucks and their cargo are underway. At 10:20 p.m., the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page stated that the roadway was completely closed at this time for vehicle recovery.
UPDATE 11:43 a.m.: One way traffic control is allowing vehicles to move through the area.
The CHP is reporting this was a minor injury accident.

NCJ says they’ve got it open to 1-way traffic now.
It’s 1:40 and the road is completely closed. Cal trans must be involved if this is the case since they move like sloths.
Wouldn’t two semi trucks crashing equal one whole crash? 😃
And why does this story make me think this is what happened:
