[UPDATE 8:32 a.m.: Road Closed] Utility Lines Down on Avenue of the Giants

Utility lines went down on the Avenue of the Giants in Phillipsville early this morning. The first report came in about 5:43 a.m.

The road was closed in both directions for a time. However, now, the road is open to controlled traffic.

UPDATE 7:50 a.m.: The CHP dispatch said there was controlled traffic through the area BUT the website says “Hard Closure.”

UPDATE 8:32 a.m.: A reader says they were turned around near Fish Creek so the road is closed.
