Tree in Lines Over Hwy 271 Near Piercy

A tree collapsed into utility lines over Hwy 271 near Piercy about 6:20 p.m. The lines are low and could entangle vehicles.

The incident occurred south of the McCoy Creek bridge which is approximately a mile south of Piercy.

UPDATE SUNDAY 3:10 p.m.: The tree is still pushing the lines down.

?It’s PG&E’s fault they didn’t cut the tree down so when mother nature came along and got nasty that darn tree just had to fall right on them lines,they should have seen it coming, right?

Exactly, and now they’re petitioning the bankruptcy court for 235 million for executive bonuses. For what???
