?Thank you Kelley for that info, at least someone’s trying to do something.
If the shuttle and these guided vehicles can make it through, what about an ATV? Does it need a pilot vehicle, or can anyone with a 4-wheeler just come and go as they please?
I called Public Works with your question. The response is that from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyone needs to wait for the shuttle driver, and respect his or her determination of whether conditions are safe enough to proceed.
Thank you. I have an ATV i use on my road when it goes out, but so far so good, this year. Anyone up there needs to borrow it to deal with the slide, get in touch with me.
Great news for these folks. It seems it is going to be a while before a road is built. I hope there will be parking at the shuttle sites.
I’m glad they figured out something temporary, but I hope the county gets on a permanent solution quickly.
?It does seem like there trying. But we’ll see.
Maybe the Bulgarians can shuttle people in one of there limos? Yes, They own limos. Seen them driving on the mattole road!
Y’all can blame Eden farms and there horrible karma!
Looks like a no go today
Our neighbor wanting to go out was turned away. I think the shuttle isn’t running today either but the good news is they are rocking the road!
Foot trail only today folks
~so they told you one thing and are doing another? How unusual.
Glad to hear the road is being rocked.
Well, just heard but through the grapevine that the shuttle can go through but no other vehicles cause of rocking
~it’s still day light, so this is good for a trip for groceries and what not.
Stay safe you good people there in Panther Gap.
Poor Panther Gap.
