Festive Ferndale Offered a Little Christmas Magic Last Friday
Live music peppered the stores. We heard three different groups in three different but foot-tapping styles. And, somewhere Christmas carols floated down like the drift of snow that magically appeared from the top of the town’s theater marquee. The moon glowed down on the traditional Victorian homes and stores.
Every store offered a delicious selection of everything from candy to cookies from cheese to champagne.
Beautifully crafted potential gifts lay lovingly grouped on shelves and tables.
Moms snapped photos of cute munchkins dressed in holiday clothes.
Did we mention the lounge singer and her keyboardist? Wow!
Santa awaited visits from awestruck kids.
We carried home of little of the Christmas magic that we found.
