OCTOBER MATEEL COMEDY CABARET- SAVAGE HENRY COMEDY FESTIVAL EDITION

Mateel Community Center and Make Me Laugh productions present the monthly Comedy Cabaret. The funniest comedians from both far and near come together each month to bring you the very best stand-up comedy in Humboldt County. On Friday, October 6th, Mateel Comedy Cabaret joins forces with Savage Henry Magazine, who are hosting their 6th Annual Comedy Festival. Over 100 comedians from all over the country are descending on Humboldt County to perform in over 40 shows at 12 different venues in Northern Humboldt, a select few will perform at the Mateel. Join Keith Bergman, Samantha Rager, Dash Kwiatkowski,  MooreDevine Experience, plus other special guests for this very special performance. The doors are at 8:30pm, show starts at 9pm. There is a $10 cover at the door, tickets available at the gate only.

BROOKLYN, NY HIP HOP DUO THE UNDERACHIEVERS COME TO THE MATEEL — Show has been cancelled

Ineffable Live and Mateel Community Center present Brooklyn, New York Hip Hop duo The Underachievers in an all-ages show Wednesday, October 25th at the Mateel, due to unforeseen circumstances the upcoming Underachievers show has been canceled. Tickets have already been refunded at point of purchase. Sorry for any inconvenience.

KMUD & The Mateel Present the Annual Halloween Boogie

 

KMUD Radio and Mateel Community Center present the annual Halloween Boogie, Friday, October 27th at the Mateel, 59 Rusk Lane in Redway. Five Alarm Funk and Stymie & the Pimp Jones Luv Orchestra will perform at this funky Halloween costume party. Tickets are available at local outlets in advance or online for $25. The tickets are $30 at the door. The doors are at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm.

 Doors’ Guitarist Robby Krieger Performs at Mateel Forever Benefit 

Fraktal Productions and the Mateel Community Center present a Rock ‘n’ Roll, cannabis awareness and dance benefit – Mateel Forever, to raise funds and spirits on Thursday Nov 9, 2017 at 6pm, at the Mateel Community Center, 59 Rusk Lane in Redway. The evening will include dinner, a Cannabis Legalization and Awareness Forum and a performance from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, guitarist from The Doors, Robby Krieger as well as Humboldt’s own Cold Blue Water. DJ Dragonfly and DJ Marjo Lak will close the night with a celebratory dance party. Support your local community arts center while rocking the night away!
