‘Help Is Here!’ Residents Near Valley Fire Weep as Humboldt Led Convoy Brings Supplies

Earlier this week, a convoy which started in Humboldt rolled into the burned areas of Lake County. Trucks and vans carrying a variety of supplies for victims of the Valley Fire drove into Middletown.

Between Saturday at 1:24 p.m. and this morning at 6:40 a.m., the Valley Fire which started in southern Lake County has burned approximately 61,000 acres or 95 square miles. It has exploded 50% in size since yesterday morning.
