The City of Eureka honors the extraordinary legacy of Chief Murl Harpham, who passed away on July 31, 2024, after serving over 56 years with the Eureka Police Department.

Celebrations of Marlene’s life will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 3 at ERV Community Center in Fortuna.

Joseph Alfred (Hurkie) McCovey was born on August 24th,1998,and was tragically taken from us on July 19th, 2024, at the young age of 25.
