Human Trafficking Awareness Walk on June 27th
This is a press release from the event organizers:
We are proud to announce our 4th Annual Walk One Step at a Time to End Human Trafficking, and we need YOU there.
Human trafficking is not a distant problem. It is happening right here in Humboldt County, in our own backyard. Every step we take together is a statement that our community refuses to look the other way. This walk is about solidarity, visibility, and standing alongside survivors who deserve to know they are not alone.
Please share the attached flyer far and wide across your networks, organizations, social media, and communities. Every share matters. And please register yourself (https://forms.gle/vzZpJHW89GeBXFzk7).
This year’s event is proudly sponsored by:
✦ Soroptimist International of Eureka
✦ North Coast Rape Crisis
It is not too late to become a sponsor! If your organization would like to sponsor a survivor’s participation or support the event in another way, please reach out to me directly at [email protected]. No community is too small to make a difference, and no contribution is too modest to matter.
Want to table? Email [email protected].
Together, we are making Humboldt County safer.
