Eureka’s Murals Now Have a Soundtrack and You Can Take the Tour Anytime

The organizers of the Eureka Street Art Festival are excited to announce a new project: the Eureka Murals Audio Tour! This self-guided tour includes 24 audio segments, explaining the inspiration and stories behind some of Eureka’s lovely murals.
Join us for a brief Launch Party on Friday, June 5th at 5:30PM at Clarke Plaza. We will be celebrating this project and handing out programs so you can enjoy the tour anytime.
Otherwise, you can access the tour map on ESAF’s website (www.eurekastreetartfestival.com) to see the locations of the tour. At each of the included murals you will find a QR code. To access the audio tour, simply scan the QR code using your phone’s camera, then tap the pop-up link that appears. Make sure your volume is turned up, and enjoy!
Programs will also be available for visitors and residents at the Eureka Visitor Center in Old Town.
This tour was made possible through grant funding from the Eureka Cultural Arts District (ECAD), a partnership of the Wiyot Tribe, The Ink People Center for Arts + Culture, Eureka Main Street, and the City of Eureka. ECAD uplifts and amplifies the region’s creatives and culture keepers through grant initiatives, festivals, and community driven leadership.
