Fatal Motorcycle Crash Impacting Traffic on Highway 20

A motorcycle “flipped” on Highway 20 west of Upper Lake around 11:15 a.m. today. According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist died as a result of the crash.
Traffic was slowed down in the area around 11:22 a.m. Emergency personnel are still reported to be at the scene as of 1:35 p.m. We will update this post if we get more information, but expect long delays if you are driving through the area.

Very sorry to read the motorcycle rider is deceased. I am really not sure what they mean by “flipped.” Did it flip to one side or the other, did the front end hit something making the bike flip forward. My condolences to the rider’s family and friends. May he RIP.
Did they identify the driver of the motorcycle?
