[UPDATE 9:46 p.m.] Two Men Reported Injured After SUV Crashes Into Wall on Humboldt Hill Road South of Eureka

A black SUV collided with a wall around 7:25 p.m. in the 5700 block of Humboldt Hill Road south of Eureka, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page. One of the occupants, believed to be the driver of the black SUV, was seen walking away from the crash before collapsing.

Initial reports indicate the black SUV struck a wall. A second vehicle, described as a silver van, was also mentioned but it is unclear from the first reports on how it is involved.

Emergency personnel were requested to the scene, with Eureka Police Department notified to assist and fire and medical responders dispatched.

Two male individuals received injuries, according to the CHP page. The man who is believed to be the driver of the SUV has a laceration, but the extent of the second individual’s injuries was unknown.

UPDATE 8:04 p.m.: An ambulance is taking both men to the hospital.

UPDATE 9:46 p.m.: The CHP page reports that this was a minor injury accident.

Well first off ITS EUREKA, apparently eureka has become home to the worst drivers on the planet. FIVE PEDESTRIANS THIS WEEK! Try looking out the windshield when going forward, that should help.

As someone who is the daughter of one of the men in the vehicle. I wont say which. It was medical emergency causing the accident.
