[UPDATE: In Contact With Georga] Rio Dell Woman Missing

Georga Burns
A 40-year-old Rio Dell woman is missing after leaving her home late Thursday night.
Georga Burns, described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with light brown hair, was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. According to information provided to authorities and shared with RHBB, Burns left her residence following an argument, taking only a small black backpack, her dog, and her Isuzu keys. She did not take her phone or her tablet, both of which were later found at the home. She was last seen wearing black pants, a tan green hiking boot, a dark colored hoodie, and a small multipocketed backback.
Burns’ dog was discovered alone on the front steps of the residence a few hours later, without a leash or collar. This is highly unusual as her dog is an emotional support animal.

Those close to Burns say she has not contacted her son or friends since her disappearance. Efforts to reach individuals she is known to trust have been unsuccessful.
A missing person report has been filed with the Rio Dell Police Department, and they have been provided with photographs and identifying details, including information about tattoos and personal items she may have been wearing.
Burns is a personal friend of this reporter, and her disappearance has caused concern among those who know her.
The Isuzu is around a gold colored ’97 Trooper with a Washington license plate of something like CJE2012 . There are tech rescue stickers on the upper back window.
Anyone with information about Georga Burns’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Rio Dell Police Department at (707) 764-5642.
UPDATE 11:20 a.m.: While Georga has not been confirmed located by law enforcement, Georga has reached out to me via email and I am comfortable that it is her. She says she is okay. Several people have seen her in the Dinsmore area and law enforcement is hoping to make contact with her there.

Oh no! I hope she comes home soon, or is otherwise heard from!
I met Georga for a brief time and had dinner with her a few years ago. We got along really well. Here is a photo she had sent me (she was a prospective renter). To me, she didn’t look like the second photo posted here much at all… i think of her like this or like the first photo above.
Here is the pic
I like that picture of Georga.
It sounds really suspicious that her dog and her phone were left behind. I hope she is found safe.
Speak to the one with whom she had the argument.
It was her fiance. He’s the one who made the missing person report. And from what has been said multiple people saw her leave, and there’s no reason to suspect him.
Small communities talk. The fact her dog made it home without its collar suggests it’s someone she knew and cares about the dog. Ring cameras and cell phone may be the deciding factor in locating her. Hope there is activity on a bank card. The husband/bf are usually the first prime suspects, according to FBI stats.
That sucks; I hope she’s found safe and soon!

Kym, I’m glad your friend has reached out. I prayed that she would. Glad she’s ok. God bless…💐
