The Rotary Club of Eureka and the Rotary Club of Old Town Eureka partnered with Zerlang Construction to complete an important safety and facility improvement: the installation of a brand-new perimeter fence. Zerlang’s Construction built approximately 300 feet of new wood fencing, featuring pressure-treated posts set in concrete, durable 6-foot redwood or cedar fence boards, and two newly constructed gates with updated hardware.
This project has enhanced the safety, security, and overall environment for the youth we serve — and our members were excited to see the project completed.
This effort was made possible through an incredible partnership:
The Rotary Club of Old Town Eureka and the Rotary Club of Eureka provided funding for construction and provided 25 volunteers to remove the existing fence Zerlang’s Construction donated equipment, expertise, and support Figas Construction assisted with green waste disposal Generous material donations were provided by Kay Johnson of Schmidbauer Building Supply, Mercer Fraser Co., and Zerlang, and Zerlang Marine Services
We are deeply grateful for the collaboration and generosity of our community partners who helped make this project possible. Together, we have created a safer and more welcoming space for our youth.
Thank you for your continued support!
