[UPDATE] Three Vehicle Crash Causing Serious Slowdown on 101 South of Ukiah
A multi-vehicle traffic collision involving an RV and at least two passenger vehicles was reported around 12:21 p.m. today, March 7, on northbound Highway 101 near Nelson Ranch Road at Burke Hill, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page.
The first reports over a scanner state a motorhome collided with another vehicle, with updates clarifying that the crash involved an RV, a Subaru, and a Tesla, along with debris scattered across the roadway.
Scanner traffic indicated that an air ambulance and an additional ground ambulance were requested for the scene. Eventually, one person chose to not accept ambulance service, one accepted a ground ambulance for minor injuries, and another accepted service for moderate injuries.
Responding units also reported multiple vehicles involved and debris across the roadway, with portions of the southbound lane reportedly blocked during the response. By 12:27 p.m., CHP reported a “slow break” at the top of Burke Hill, suggesting traffic control measures were being started. Caltrans QuickMap shows traffic moving very slowly as 12:43 p.m.
UPDATE: Traffic moving smoothly now.
