Bicyclist Injured in Collision with SUV Near Orick
A vehicle collided with a bicyclist near Shoreline Market along Highway 101 near Orick about 2 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page. The injured bicyclist was transported by ambulance to Mad River Community Hospital.
Initial reports stated that a silver Nissan Pathfinder collided with the bicycle, leaving the rider injured.
CHP units remained on scene gathering information about the collision.

I sure hope the person riding the bicycle is going to be ok. I also feel sorry for the Nissan Pathfinder driver as no one wants to hit or kill another person with their vehicle.
