Fire Burning in Trinity County Near Highway 36

#WildfireAlert The Lamb Fire was reported at 2:17 p.m. today and it is approximately 2.5 acres located on private land adjacent to the Six Rivers National Forest in Trinity County approximately three miles up Route 1 from Highway 36.
The fire is burning in timber slash and has a slow to moderate rate of spread.
Resources on scene include two Southern Trinity Volunteer Fire Department Type 3 Engines and USFS Engine 343 from the Mad River Ranger District. Additional resources enroute to the fire include one Cal Fire Type 3 engine and one Cal Fire hand crew.
No structures are threatened at this time. Incident Commander is Jamie Wilburn, Battalion Chief 42, Mad River Ranger District.
