Emergency personnel responded to a traffic collision on southbound State Route 1 at just north of the town of Mendocino around 3:10 p.m. on Monday, July 14. According to scanner traffic and the California Highway Patrol, three vehicles were involved, including a gray lifted Toyota 4Runner and a gray sedan.

At least one lane remained open to traffic, with vehicles partially blocking the roadway. Cal Fire was notified and responded to the scene.
