On January 12, 2025 Vicki Lynn Jimenez passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Vicki Lynn Harrison was born November 3, 1951 to Clifford and Jessie Harrison in Arcata. She attended Jacoby Creek Elementary School until her family moved to Blue Lake in 1963. It was in Blue Lake that she met her future husband Pablo in the 7th grade. Vicki graduated Arcata High School in 1969, then went on to attend College of the Redwoods.

Vicki married the love of her life, Pablo on June 6, 1971 and she cherished her role as wife and mother to their 3 children. Vicki and Pablo shared a beautiful life of 53 years together, they raised three wonderful children and some nieces and nephews in their home.

Vicki loved baking for her family, going to Lutheran Church of Arcata on Sundays, spending summers camping on the Trinity River where she braved white water rafting. The Trinity Alps and Marble Mountains were special places where she would spend many summers exploring and creating memories with her family. Vicki would follow Pablo on any adventure. In 2009, she fulfilled her dream of courageously jumping out of an airplane, another family adventure accompanied by her daughter Jessica and son Joshua. Vicki also loved vacationing with Pablo and dear friends Art and Cynthia to Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Mexico and the island of Kauai. She also loved trips trailer camping and sewing quilts for her family, something she spent many years enjoying. Vicki had a beautiful spirit filled with love, laughter and a bit of sass. She had a warm smile and was friendly to everyone she met.  Her home was always open to her family and friends for visits, fun, a meal and a drink. Vicki was cherished by her family and was the glue to family functions. She was so proud to be a grandma and retired from Mervyn’s to be home with her grandkids, it was Eli as a baby who gave her the name Mimi. Mimi will be forever loved and missed by her family and all who knew her.

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.  Believes thou this? John 11:25-26
