Missing Dog in SoHum: She’s Strikingly Beautiful and Very Much Loved

Australian Shepherd

Help us bring Scarlet home! Scarlet is a 10-year-old Australian Shepherd with a blue merle coat, two striking blue eyes, and a black nose. She’s incredibly sweet and dearly missed.

Last seen: Halloween night (10/31) in the Salmon Creek area. She left with a group of dogs, but she’s the only one who hasn’t returned.

Details: Scarlet likely isn’t wearing any tags. Her owner has spent hours hiking through the surrounding woods with their other dogs, covering extensive ground near the Salmon Creek School and surroundings. If Scarlet were nearby and able, she likely would’ve responded to their calls.

If you’ve seen Scarlet or have any information, please help us get her home. A reward is offered for her safe return.

? Call or Text: 707-273-9302 with any information.

Thank you to everyone who’s keeping a look out for Scarlet!

On a personal note, Scarlet’s owner is a close friend of my son and daughter-in-law’s. We’re all hoping she is back home soon where she is very much loved.

Actually of ideas! The owners can give her a scent trail by placing ace smelly dirty clothes ( dirty socks work great) at key locations. And a sweatshirt that smells like her people placed on the ground can give her a snuggly spot to wait. Check those locations every day. Lost dogs usually travel a circle so figure a point on the circle and keep watch. I hope she’s already home

Why would someone let their dog run loose with a pack of other dogs?
