That’s really sad I’m wonder if it got stung or bit by something. I’m sure they’ll figure it out very very sad.
Someone’s heart is broken today. So sorry to learn of this sad news.
So sad and heart breaking ?
I’m so sorry. Thank you to all that try to help.
Don’t know if this horse was “rented out” or if he/she had a guardian (“guardian” because no one “owns” another being, just like no one owns YOU) —but horse rentals are unethical. (There’s no way for the business proprietor to know whether or not the person renting the horse is kind, responsible, experienced, or if they can recognize the signs of distress the horse may have shown prior to his/ her seizure. Very sad indeed. Even if this wasn’t a horse rental, I guarantee you the horse had no choice about whether to participate, sick or not sick.
[edit: Kym] This horse was an amazing animal and loved going on trail rides. He was raised and cared for by an owner who was responsible, knowledgeable and loving and treated him with loving affection and the best care available. [edit: Kym]
People can and do unwittingly ride horses to the brink of collapse —or “to collapse”. Again, that may or may not have happened in this case; but in either case, related or not, this incident bears bringing to awareness a practice that is over-looked.
Why so negative? The response was the the horse was cared for.
What is wrong with you? [edit: Kym] I hope you never have to exsperiance the heartach this person has today [edit: Kym] .why don’t you try keeping your accusations to yourself unless you have cold hard facts. ,
I recommend taking the honorable out bud.
It is always very sad when you lose an animal. I have no idea what may have caused the seizure that led to this tragic end for the horse. My condolences to the owner(s) for their loss. It tugs at my heart strings. May the horse RIP.
I hope the authorities can help with the removal of this unfortunate horse
They are so big it’s really hard to move them whole.
If the horse is in an open area they can remove it by chopper.
