Ain’t nothing we did….weather was weird around here after Mt st. Helens, and that was a small one as far as volcanoes go earth doesn’t go by human time.

That’s a cool article. Hunga tonga hunga haapai seems like an extraordinary eruption in many ways.

Yes very cool article.
I wonder how many climate deniers will argue with straight up science

So you agree that the warming is not human caused?

Oil and coal are fossilized sunshine. Millions of years of fossilized sunshine. Burning it brings the sequester carbon back to our atmosphere!

Air pollution is actually contributing global cooling.
https://e360.yale.edu/features/air-pollutions-upside-a-brake-on-global-warming

However co2 and methane are causing global warming.
https://blogs.worldbank.org/en/opendata/climate-science-global-action-who-contributes-most-global-greenhouse-gas-emissions#:~:text=The%20largest%20contributors%20to%20current,Qatar%2C%20Bahrain%2C%20and%20Kuwait.

This tonga volcano is a wild card. It contributed very little sulphur dioxide but tons of water vapor. That makes the world warmer not cooler strange…

I think the real question is how many global warming believers trust the science implicitly when the data may be being manipulated for a prime objective?

Science used to say the earth was flat.

True scientists are very skeptical people.

when did Science ( I assume you mean Big Science) say the earth was flat? That’s a sincere question.

C’mon. Look at maps online from 500-1000 years ago. Cartography is science, is it not?

What in the hell is Big Science? Is that the “science” that is collaborating with world leaders to push a narrative to fit those funding the scientists prime objective?

Well, the number 1 ‘GREENHOUSE GAS‘. Is ‘Water Vapor‘.

Go figure.

Yeah, volcanoes usually dirty the atmosphere causing cooling. This volcano blew water clear into the mesosphere. (usually considered to be close to outer space)
Garberville has been up to 116 degrees.

So what caused the Heat Dome in the Pacific Northwest in the summer of 2021? It caused the deaths of around 1400 people in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. This happened six months before the eruption.
The poor little town of Lytton, BC reached a temperature of 121F. They are above 50 degrees latitude. The highest temperature ever recorded above 45 degrees latitude ( this current event may break that record, who knows).
The day after that record high, a wildfire burned most of that little village down.

So, 2021 was just “weather”, but the current one is caused by a volcano?

I did t say the current one was caused by a volcano.

The current one is caused by weather, too.

So why is “weather” going bonkers lately? Why has it caused record breaking temperatures in regions where it is certainly not the norm?
121 at 50 latitude, dude.

Maybe because this is backfiring, just like research into DURC, or virus gain of function backfired and did more harm than good…

Of course the earth is warming. We’ve been coming out of an ice age.

Wonder if scientists know how much ice was at the poles during the Jurassic period? ?

Because the earth’s climate, which has a direct effect on weather, is constantly changing. The area at 50 latitude was covered in ice about 10,000 years ago.

50 degrees would have been hot at 50 latitude 10,000 years ago.

Oh, the ice age! Yes, it was, like you say, millennia ago. But to think that our climate (weather) hasn’t changed quite a bit in our own lifetimes is ignoring it. There used to be fogs in Eureka that were so thick, walking the block from my house to school involved not being able to see 20 feet in front of us. I miss that, tbh.
The 10 billion (with a B) opilio crabs that have disappeared in the Bering Sea aren’t due to “weather” but to climate change. And that’s from the Alaska Dept. of Fish and Game. I can tell you, they ain’t woke. (But I respect them. If they say the opies have disappeared and why that means it has happened. Fishing is a huge business in Alaska. AF&G does not want to stop that unless they absolutely have to.)
I do love the “but, but..the ice age” one though. It’s always good for a laugh.

So you deny that the earth has been warming continually since the ice age? Laugh all you want, but for millennia the earth’s climate was considerably warmer (and cooler at times) than it is now.

Weather patterns change. Sometimes in short periods as we are seeing now which is why you may notice changes within your lifetime.

Man made climate change is merely a theory. A theory being pushed by globalists looking to disrupt the world order.

Our Founders experiences swings in the weather during their lifetimes. They too may have wondered why the climate (weather) had changed a bit.

Maybe a combination of factors…

Wasn’t there a million acre fire in 2020, plus a BUNCH of others…???

As far as the current heat wave…

Add in this potential factor…

Maybe this experimentation is backfiring…???

It DEFINITELY ain’t working…

There was a high pressure system that did not dissipate. It kept the marine air from moving inland. No clouds. The land and air were warmed by the sun, but the rising heat could not “escape” the high pressure system above, it stayed down, getting hotter and hotter until the high pressure system finally moved on.
As for the fires. They are a result of dry and hot conditions, not the cause of them.
Don’t get me started on the “firestorm” later that year. A summer east wind is bad news, especially when it’s honking towards the west.

I guess the MSM didn’t tell her what the scientists say about the earth coming out of an ice age or the period of medieval warming you mentioned. I also got no answer about how much ice was at the poles during the Jurassic period. All climate believers can do is parrot their preferred Pravda talking points.

Which usually consists of, “The science!”

I was not trying to suggest that the fires literally and directly caused the dry and hot conditions…

I was trying to suggest that the particulate matter from millions of acres of fires in 2020 may have contributed to atmospheric conditions that led to hot and dry conditions in 2021…

I should have made that more clear.

You had asked:

“So what caused the Heat Dome in the Pacific Northwest in the summer of 2021?”

…………………..

My answer:

“Possiblity particulate matter in the atmosphere from millions of acres of fires in 2020 contributed to the hot and dry conditions”…

Particulate matter in the atmosphere may have less of an effect on solar radiation entering the lower near Earth atmosphere than it has on the solar radiation that DOES enter the lower near Earth atmosphere from being able to escape back into the upper atmosphere.

My other point being…

Just as dubious research into supposedly combat the likelihood of recombined viruses causing a pandemic, not only failed, but likely exacerbated the problem, the dubious research happening now into supposedly combatting global warming will not only likely also fail, it will also likely just exacerbate the problem of global warming.

Bottom line, virus research definitely did not prevent the Covid 19 pandemic, and solar engineering is definitely not preventing record heat waves like we have just been experiencing.

Might as well throw in the failed Biden Gaza pier experiment as a supposed prevention of Palestinian starvation…

What’s the common theme…???

Billions of dollars into cronies pockets, fails miserably, and the problems just get worse, not better.

Worldwide chimeric virus pandemic, global record heat waves, and worsening starvation becoming deadly famine in Gaza.

The experiments are backfiring…

Job security, Biden style.

No more experiments please….

The results are killing us.

Biden interview at black radio station where he called himself a black president was scripted, and it turns out Biden got a black woman fired. Looks like Trump was right that Biden would cause people to lose “black jobs”

“New York (CNN) — Radio host Andrea Lawful-Sanders has resigned from WURD Radio after admitting her post-debate interview with President Joe Biden included questions that were pre-selected by Biden’s campaign team, the station told CNN Sunday.

“The interview featured pre-determined questions provided by the White House, which violates our practice of remaining an independent media outlet accountable to our listeners,” Sara Lomax, president and CEO of the Philadelphia-based station, announced in a statement posted Sunday on its website. “As a result, Ms. Lawful-Sanders and WURD Radio have mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately.”

I was watching an interview with Biden when he started answering a question before it was through being asked. I thought at the time that he was really on top of the issue. Now, I find out that he will not accept an interview unless he has the questions in advance. That is not journalism. If accepting that kind of an interview, it should be announced that those were the conditions. What happened to honesty in reporting?

Richard Feynman explains Science to the Layman (his was and is famous for that ability) from the

BBC series FUN TO IMAGINE with physicist and Nobel laureate Richard Feynman enjoying himself talking about science. This was originally shot on 16mm film at Feynman’s house in Altadena, California, and first broadcast on BBC2 in July 1983.

Richard Feynman – The World from another point of view

The famous American physicist Richard Feynman used to take holidays in England. His third wife, Gweneth Howarth, was a native of West Yorkshire, so every year the Feynman family would visit her hometown of Ripponden or the nearby hamlet of Mill Bank.

In 1973 Yorkshire public television made a short film of the Nobel laureate while he was there. The resulting film, Take the World From Another Point of View, was broadcast in America as part of the PBS Nova series. The documentary features a fascinating interview, but what sets it apart from other films on Feynman is the inclusion of a lively conversation he had with the eminent British astrophysicist Fred Hoyle.
