Helicopter Rescue Saves Injured Hiker in Snowy Trinity Alps (Video)

Yesterday, the CHP – Northern Division Air Operations performed a daring helicopter rescue to save an injured hiker stranded near Granite Peak in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. The hiker, located at approximately 7,000 feet, injured their leg and was unable to walk.

The crew of helicopter H-14 responded to the rescue request. Upon locating the injured party, a rescuer was lowered to assess the situation. The rescuer and the hiker were both hoisted out of the wilderness to Weaverville Airport. There, an ambulance took the hiker to the hospital for further medical treatment.

“Remember to always carry a means of communication when hiking in the back country, as you never know when you’ll need it for an emergency!” The CHP Air Ops posted.

They also gave thanks go to the allied agencies that assisted in this rescue:

Kudos to the rescue team. Door man calmly talking to the pilot in a steady voice.
I think they have done that before.
Good people to have around.

Thank You Zip! I for one could not agree more not only is this “rescue” a totally unnessecary waste of money and manpower it falsely perpetuates the absolute lie that the government is in the rescue buz! Lololol! HAHAHAHahahaha!!!!
No these “rescues” are Psyops designed to fool you/us/them/everyone into relaxing our defenses against the militilarized police and softening resisrance to state violence by introducing doubt as to state motives. Which are always bad for the common person the environment and the green future human beings need now to survive.
And do investigate the construction right now of 60 Cop Cities in 48 States. Only Atlanta has Cop City in the actual city.
All the others are rural locations near every major population area and every proposed temporary disaster housing site in N. America.
Project 2025 much? Nah thats just conspiracy talk

Clean, professional and great! Kudos to a save rescue and recovery, and kudos to the hiker for having the for thought to have a means of communication incase of an emergency.

Congrats to the rescue team for a boring video. I’ll bet that’s one embarrassed and relieved hiker. I hope they heal quick.

My husband and son and his friends were in the right place at the right time for her friend to find them so they could call it in. So glad she’s okay!
