Two-Vehicle Collision on Broadway Impacts Northbound Traffic

A blue Subaru Outback appeared to be crossing northbound traffic from an alleyway next to the Rescue Mission Thrift Store, when it collided with a blue four-door sedan.
According to the witness, occupants were outside of the vehicles and appeared uninjured though this is not confirmed by law enforcement at this time.

According to the Caltrans QuickMap, traffic appears slowed on the northbound lanes of Broadway near the collision site. Please avoid the area if possible.

Aside from possible injury or worse, it’s somewhat humorous to see the many roadway fubars that happen on coastal roadways, i.e. Eureka and thereabouts. Rollovers on residential streets, pedestrian bump and runs, and “Oh, the humanity road rage”. Greetings from Willow Creek.
Thick fog or what ?
It was a sunny, windy day.
Glad the Subaru driver did not try to cross the road in front of that gray semi. I don’t think the outcome would have been very good at all.
