The Humboldt Workforce Coalition will be at the conference room at the Garberville Library on Wednesday, November 8, from 1pm to 4pm. We can help job seekers prepare a resume, craft cover letters, and give information about current job openings in our area. Eligible candidates may also receive funding for job training and associated support services. Stop by the library on Wednesday, or email [email protected], for more information about services.

It would be more helpful if the discussions included Arcata and Eureka.
I sent an email. I’m hoping they will be up here as well. I think they may just be starting on the southern end of the county. That is my hope anyway.

The weather and isolation add to the stress, and you will need a go-bag, a full gas tank, and somewhere to flee to when a tree falls on your house or knocks out the PGE for 4 days…
Humboldt is beautiful, but it’s a trap, and it smells like fine flower…
