My family has been taking advantage of the flights to Burbank. If Avelo offered flights drectly to Seattle I’d take them often.
What will the hang from the rear-view mirror if you play craps?
ACV Director of Aviation Cody M. Roggatz disclosed that each Vegas-bound Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft will have a pair of fuzzy dice hanging from the plane’s rear view mirror.
Chrome spinner rims for the landing gear tires? Pilots wearing Mr. T gold chains and extra large gold rings with enormous cubic zirconia settings? Rick James tunes blasting over the P.A. system? Purple shag rug carpeting down the center aisle? Disco ball in the cabin? Flight attendants wearing faux leather white go-go boots?
What have I missed?
A steering wheel spinner knob.
Nehru jackets?
Elvis impersonator in full regalia.
What will they hang from the plane’s rear-view mirror if you play Craps?
Maybe this isn’t such a great idea….???
‘Las Vegas Strip Hit By Surprise Closure’
“Health and safety concerns have led to a shocking shutdown at a big-name Strip resort.”
https://www.thestreet.com/travel/las-vegas-strip-hit-by-surprise-closure
“Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) crowded Las Vegas-area hospitals at multiple points and Candida auris, a hard-to-control fungus, has also caused concerns. Covid focused attention on how crowded tourist areas — whether they be cruise ships, theme parks, or resort casinos — make it easier for disease to spread.”

They forgot to mention tourist areas like airports…
What happens in Las Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay in Las Vegas…
It never stayed in Vegas to start with.
You can lose the money it takes for a round trip to Vegas in minutes at the local casinos. Might as well have more fun losing it in Vegas and lots more to do. Maybe even have more chance of winning something than here.
No thanks.
Besides, if you don’t gamble there is the Hoover Dam, fantastic theme casinos, great shows, good comps, great shopping, beautiful desert, the fountains of the Bellagio, on and on. Family things to do. I’m not affiliated with any business there- being honest. More bang and and fun for your buck than these rinky dink casinos. You could fly to Vegas, rent a car and see the Southwest. This is good news if you want to escape Humboldt for a while.
Arrive on an airplane leave on a bus.
According to the press release, “every filght is also nonstop.”
It better be. If your fligh ever stops before it gets to the destination airport, you’re in real trouble.
Upon reaching the destination city, true non-stop flights open the door and give each passenger a parachute.
And a Cracker Jack whistle. Except for Vegas…in which case a condom is provided.
I hope “nonstop” flights to Vegas does not mean we have to jump from the aircraft as it passes over Vegas.
Well, on their website, Avelo states: “We help you fly for less so you can fly more.” That could mean additional flying, as in jumping, from the aircraft as one passes over Vegas. You be the judge.
I prefer to land. Jumping scares the hell out of me.
I hope taking the “nonstop” flight to Vegas does not mean we have to jump as it passes over!
