So the kxds must be both Black and indigenous to participate?

Also, why is Black capitalized but indigenous isn’t? Don’t all fxlks deserve capitals?

Is there a separate but equal option for kxds who don’t have the right color skin but would still like to be involved?

Is racism an effective tool to fix perceived problems that are blamed on racism?

Can someone not fitting the description of the invited ethnicities contribute?

Pike Mortar, one would assume NO! Only certain ethnicities may apply it seems as it is written.

There’s literally nothing written above precluding someone who is not BIPOC from contributing.

I’m sure the two of you would have nothing but helpful and constructive things to say. As such, I strongly encourage you to create a submission. After all, you clearly improved the quality of discourse here.

THESTEVE4761 , Young Black, indigenous people of color are invited to apply as oral performers. What part of this says that you can be an oral performer if you are not BIPOC ?

Keep exploiting that death to promote false narratives.

I don’t think that would be a problem at all, Pike Mortar.

That would be very generous of you.

Just make the check payable to the
NAACP.😁

I’d been debating with myself whether or not to reply to Pike Mortar’s silly “question,” but I don’t think anything could top your response. Take a bow.

No profanity allowed in 8-12 and 13-15 age groups. What makes it ok for any entry? 16 year olds aren’t any less children than 15 year olds. Shouldn’t all entries be judged by content, presentation and other good qualities. Profanity is never used for good quality.

True enough, but using profanity for letting off steam to the cosmos is a different situation from using it for shock value or to look tough in a performance. As an artistic device, it’s lame. Been that way ever since John Lennon used it in Working Class Hero.

Old Asian expatriates who are color blind are invited to leave a comment on this comment. The rest of you, go to hell.

What about Asian men who identify as women? Transphobe!

Ever notice that the replacement of “POC” with “BIPOC” excludes the “white-adjacent” Asians? That could become an issue now that hate crimes against Asians are in the news and there is an effort to downplay blacks committing them in the name of “solidarity.”

The degree to which they exploit and honor this guy’s name is directly proportional to the guilt they feel for covering up what really happened to him.

Wouldn’t the point of an outline be to list A, B, and C, rather than A, A, and A?

Or perhaps they want to say that no category is better than any other, so instead of numerical or alphabetical order, they’re just giving each category the A-1 rating.

It can be done by simply leaving off a number or letter, or using a dot (bullet), asterisk, or dash. One could also probably achieve something similar by trying to write in a circle, but then, darn, one part of the circle would be upright, and one would be closest to the center, which would suggest priority.

This poor language and punctuation system is sure being challenged in the name of fairness!
I sure wish as much energy and time were spent making sure cops didn’t kill unarmed innocents as is spent on trying to choke the written language into conformity.

Kyle’s knife killed David and the DNA says it.

All other BS, save it.

The pre-trial was flawed and rushed, and police decried as racist.

An FBI investigator came and noted so many problems, with the investigation originally, but the local DA could not solve em.

Gleason knew too, about the knives in Kyle’s bag.

She noted in court there should have been 1 more, than just a few.

There should have been 4, yet one was missing.

The evening that David was killed, and Kyle’s girl went home with them.

Really?

…And the Castro brothers testified Kyle didn’t want to fight. That kid took a savage beating and if he did stab David it wasn’t prosecutable as it would have been a hard time convincing a Jury it wasn’t self defense. It’s been a few years, can you give all your proofs as to how and why Lawson’s death was the result of premeditation and racism?

Dick Drewry a 85 year old man was shot in the head on his own property in his own vehicle, Wade Harris a government informant was found shot in the head in Harris, etc. do you detect a theme? Its not racist, I believe that humboldt just doesn’t do serious investigations, unless it’s pot and they can fine the shit out of you.

Thanks for putting on something positive!

Ignore the commentariat. They’re still stewing over their November and January losses. It’s tough being a racist troll without the racist troll in chief okaying your behavior all day long.
