Structure Fire feature icon

A double wide trailer was reported on fire in the 3600 block of Patricks Point Drive at approximately 11:55 p.m. Tuesday night. A dispatcher sent firefighters to the structure.

The first firefighters on scene reported seeing “smoke and flames” from the trailer and, over the scanner, they requested all other resources continue in Code 3 (with lights and siren.)

Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.

UPDATE 12:19 a.m.: The Incident Commander said this was a “small, working fire.” He cancelled one of the firefighting resources dispatched not yet at the scene.

UPDATE 12:31 a.m.: “We had a well-involved attic fire,” the Incident Commander told dispatch. But now they have the fire knocked down and are mopping up.

I feel real sorry for the home owners, hope they are fine. A big thank you to the first responders. A great job putting the fire out. Had it knocked down in a little over 30 minutes.
