I was a bit amazed at the folks I saw running in Eureka this Sunday morning despite the haze of smoke and the fairly poor AQI numbers.

Except you don’t know if the ash you just inhaled was a fried madrone leaf, baked Mary Jane, barbecued deer, someone’s singed siding, blackened horse hair, or crispy cartel grower.
