Fire in Motor Home at Stafford RV Park South of Scotia

Fire helmet red backgroundA motor home in the Stafford RV Park caught fire about 8:05 p.m.

When firefighters responded to the scene, they found one RV fully involved and one threatened.

Firefighters were able to get the fire out around 8:18 p.m.

“Let’s start [the] Sheriff’s Office for possible investigation,” requested the Incident Commander over the scanner after the fire was extinguished.

The rapid consumption of mobile homes and RVs by fire is scary. Are there fire safety regulations for them?

Yes. More concerning is that no electricians in the area will work on them if they can help it. The only one I know of who would retired.
