The Healy Senior Center site will be closed for renovations, not the COVID-19 coronavirus, next week from 3/16 to 3/20.  There had been discussion of closing to slow any potential virus contact for the seniors, but ultimately it was decided “the nutrition provided is just too vital” according to Babette Bach the Healy’s Chef and Nutrition Director.

The Healy has grants to replace the roof and to install a three compartment sink and a garbage disposal in the kitchen.

Back emphasized, “We are, however, still delivering Meals on Wheels.  Both hot and frozen meals will still be delivered on schedule.”
