SEE! Loud pipes could have prevented this!!!!!
That is a stupid comment. Loud pipes are ridiculous
?Bad traffic area.
The driver didn’t mention doing something drivers are required to do before entering traffic from being parked.
Use her turn signal even before moving? Is there a prize? Turn signals in California!? LOL! Oh, please, don’t get me started.
What? What are “turn signals”?
Yes! The correct answer is using the turn signal before moving away from the curb and entering traffic, per CVC section 22107. I thought the answer was going to be difficult, based on observing other drivers. For answering correctly you have won free online access to the Redheaded Blackbelt! 😉
This is why we need to be hurd with our exhaust, because not everyone sees bikers coming. I think we are going to see a lot more of this because of the new modified exhaust law
If you’re going to correct grammar and spelling you might want to check your own. 😉
Josh, perhaps you’re right. Fortunately, however, it won’t be the riders with already quiet pipes since we learned to be aware of our surroundings the moment we first straddled a bike and not rely on everyone to hear us.
Also, that car had non tinted windows. Even in the most inclement weather, a rider could see there was someone in that cage and therefore EXPECT them to pull out. Don’t get me wrong, the cager was not in the clear by any means, but pipes ain’t gonna correct it.
It’s gunna help out a lot more that relying on someone else’s awareness if they don’t see you just possibly they would hear them coming in this case I thank two safety precautions are better than one
Try never to move the victim until the 1st responders arrive.
Maybe somebody could post some general driving tips for everyone.
Blessings to the victim.
~not a general driving tip, just of interest:

It’s very dangerous to ride motorcycles without shoes. Very dangerous.
Um, maybe he had shoes on and EMS took them off to examine him did you think of that
Wow, you really mist be smart. Ya ever think that Elric’s comment might have been a sarcastic joke? I’m sure a super smart person like you already thought of that, its just too obvious.
LOL
You’re right I did not realize it was a joke, he also happens to be the husband of one of my friends. [edit]
