[UPDATE 6:13 p.m.] Commercial Bus on Fire in Arcata

At approximately 5:30 p.m., a commercial bus caught on fire behind the Arcata Safeway, according to scanner traffic. The bus is fully engulfed in fire and at first, there was some concern that the blaze would spread to the surrounding area. However, the first responders on the scene are reporting that the fire is not spreading.

UPDATE 6:13 p.m.: According to scanner traffic, this is a 30 foot international school bus. All four tires are still intact and a tow truck should be able to move it.

The students should be so lucky that all the bad teachers were evacuated and then torched. Save the students from Obamification. Home school!
