As the community celebrates America’s 250th anniversary this Fourth of July, the Ingomar Club is pleased to share that the historic Carson Mansion will be part of Eureka’s Independence Day festivities, joining the community in honoring this historic milestone.
The Carson Mansion will be decorated for this grand national celebration, creating a festive and memorable setting for families, friends, and visitors to enjoy one of Eureka’s most beloved landmarks.
Beginning at approximately 5:00 p.m., community members are welcome to stop by the Mansion’s front entrance at 2nd and M Streets to enjoy patriotic music, receive complimentary American flags and commemorative postcards.
A professional photographer will be available for individuals and families who wish to capture a special Fourth of July memory in front of the Carson Mansion. Participants will receive a QR code to download their complimentary photographs following the event.
After the City of Eureka’s fireworks finale, the Mansion will be illuminated with a special light display accompanied by patriotic music for those who wish to gather nearby and enjoy the celebration.
“We are honored to help celebrate this historic milestone for our nation,” said Greg Pierson, President of the Ingomar Club. “The Carson Mansion has long been one of Eureka and Humboldt County’s most cherished landmarks, and we hope families will stop by at 2nd and M Streets and make the Mansion part of their Fourth of July celebration.”
