Penelope the Potbelly Pig Is Looking for a New Mudroom to Rule

Penelope appeared willing to overlook the editorial decision to add a clearly fake crown and AI enhancement to her adoption portrait, provided snacks were included in the negotiations. [Enhanced with AI see below for real photo]
Three-year-old Penelope, a female potbelly pig currently staying at the NW SPCA, is searching for a new home where she can continue her apparent mission of inspecting straw piles and charming humans.
With her round black coat, sturdy little legs, and serious pig-business expression, Penelope looks like the kind of houseguest who would happily accept kitchen scraps while pretending not to notice you dropped them on purpose.
Potbelly pigs are known for being intelligent, social animals that can form strong bonds with people. They also tend to appreciate a good routine, comfortable shelter, and enough room to root around and explore. Penelope appears ready to bring all the pig personality one household can handle.
Penelope arrived at the shelter on April 16, 2026, and is listed as about 3 years old.
Anyone interested in learning more about Penelope can contact the shelter for adoption information.

Previous owner states could not afford lipstick and gas. Pig had to go.
