Why is a 13 yo hanging out w- a 19yo? Are they related? What is the woman’s relationship to them? Is the woman innocent, or an abusive asshole?
They are sisters and the lady that’s is 45 has been harassing several people in towns mental but casev and they were being attacked and took action. She finally got what she deserved sounds like to me sad it had to be children to stick up for themselves.
A 19 year old is an adult.
These are sisters. Sisters that have been known to harass other teens in our area on multiple occasions. Very ugly behavior!!
They are sisters and the ” victim” is a crazy lady who walks around screaming at ppl literally earlier that day she was harassing several ppl right by Amelia’s taking pictures of their vehicles and saying they were stalking her. She is a absolute menace and unstable it’s sad that a crazy woman can be screaming and threatening pp this girl saw a threat to herself and younger sister and she gets arrested. All while the same police say there’s nothing they can do about that woman. I hope the charges get dropped this is ridiculous
Came here to say something similar
I was defending myself…. Is what you tell them. And when they ask questions, remind them when The Cops have to defend themselves, and at what lengths they’ll go…. These are kids, one is barely a fabricated adult, going against an Aggressive delusional adult…. These kids are untrained how to handle these situations… And then take that to trial. This is why it’s important to do your jury duty. It’s OUR lifeline when politics gets in the way of right and wrong.
These are my daughters. My 13-year-old was not arrested. That is false. My 19-year-old had to defend her and my younger daughter against this women! I won’t go into detail here but this women needs to stop harassing people and especially children! Not Okay!
Sounds like the girls handled their business. It’s crap that our community’s youth have to grow up seeing strung out mental cases doing whatever the heck they want wherever the heck they wanna do it. Growing up in Sohum is not by any means a normal, typical childhood experience. I’m glad to know these sisters stuck together. Some of the street walkers are not safe to be around kids and some of the kids have had to adapt to handling things on their own. I hope big sis isn’t in too much trouble. I’ve seen what the kids deal with in Garberville and it’s frustrating. It shouldn’t be normal to see a dude shitting by the road on your way to school!! Omg Lord please help us. 🤦♀️
So sorry this happened to those girls. Automatically I think it sounds like the 13yo was in the care of the 19yo and she was protecting her. What I don’t understand is why the police don’t know the older women’s history while the rest of the community does. At the very least the girls needed to be protected from an unstable woman. That’s unacceptable. What justice does this serve?
Our community leaders need to be taught appropriate ways to handle people with mental health issues so that people get the care they need, verses doing all the wrong things and having children being theatened. Training. Kindness. Some things to consider, community learders.
It’s not just getting care. It’s being willing to accept care. While there are usually medications for treatment, they frequently have unpleasant side effects. A person who is not mentally stable may very likely stop taking them especially when the meds make it seem they do not have a problem worth the downside anymore.
It’s a hard thing to balance the rights of a mental patient with the rights of a community to be free from threats. Currently community safety takes a back seat to the patient’s rights. Involuntary commitment is expensive, ugly and full of liability. It’s easier under the law to just let the cycle of trouble, jail, imposing medication, getting better then released only to stop taking medication and getting into trouble again keep repeating.
Those side effects are what made me stop taking meds, especially after stopping I felt so enormously better, am better, confirmed by vital signs & blood tests. Luckily I have a doctor who supported the weaning process using my favorite method — foods. I’ve been off meds for over six months and honestly have never felt as healthy and energized — maybe it’s all the recent Solar Flares. 🙂
“Western doctors only know cut and poison, but they are the best in the world at that when necessary” — slightly paraphrased quote of Professor Wae Shui of San Francisco.
Western medicine “poisoning”, i.e. side effects are the reactions which may in some cases promote healing response, but after that response are poisonous.
Ah but doing an experiment with a data set of one is risky business. Especially if you have a not-so-supportive family practitioner. (I haven’t had a family doctor in well over a decade. Maybe two.) If you are fortunate enough to have one who will take the time and even bother to think about the issues, you have a treasure. Congratulations.
