Hopland Man Arrested on Felony Warrant at Pratt Ranch Road

On 04/14/2026 at approximately 2:40 P.M., Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Pratt Ranch Road in Hopland, CA to serve an active arrest warrant on James Ray, a 51-year-old male from Hopland, CA.
Sheriff’s Deputies confirmed Ray had an outstanding felony warrant for a violation of 3455(a) PC – Violation of Post Release Community Supervision. The warrant for Ray’s arrest was issued on 03/05/2026 by the Mendocino County Superior Court.
Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) is a form of supervision in California for individuals released from state prison after serving a sentence for certain offenses. Individuals on PRCS are supervised at the county level and are required to comply with specific terms and conditions after being released from custody.
Upon arrival, Sheriff’s Deputies located Ray and placed him under arrest without incident. Ray was transported to the Mendocino County Jail where he is being held on a no bail status pursuant to the arrest warrant.
