Two people were airlifted with major injuries following a traffic collision on Highway 20 near Spring Valley Road in Lake County, according to the California Highway Patrol Traffic Incident Information Page. The road is completely blocked. One lane was blocked by vehicles while the other was obstructed by emergency responders.

The crash was first reported around 10:08 p.m. near mile marker 34.5 on eastbound Highway 20. A semi-truck driver in the area reportedly stopped and activated hazard lights while advising a passing motorist to call 911. Early reports indicated one vehicle might be catching fire and that broken glass and debris were blocking lanes.

As more information came in, callers reported that one of the vehicles had crossed into the opposite lane before the crash.

Emergency personnel at the scene reported two vehicles involved, with one vehicle about 50 feet down an embankment. Emergency crews worked to extricate one person from each of the involved vehicles, and both patients were taken by air ambulance to the hospital

Emergency personnel reported major damage to both vehicles.

Robot, we don’t select the ads, we use an ad company that tailors readers’ ads to their analytics, ie, for some reason they believe that you would be interested in that ad. I on the other hand get a lot of temu ads though I’m not interested in them (though I did buy two egg-shaped rocking chairs once), so their analytics may be wonky. We are currently shopping other ad companies, in large part, due to this ad that you reported previously.

Lisa, RHBB should have stopped that add from ever being posted. It is nasty and it makes me discussed!

What Lisa said: “ad company that tailors readers’ ads to their analytics”. I.e., you must’ve been looking at online porn lately. 🙂

I hope the they people taken to the hospital by air ambulance with recover from their injuries. Thank you to the semi-truck driver for stopping, turning on his hazard lights and asking passing motorist to call 911. You just might have saved a life.

Crash victim names are rarely released prior to the completion of a CHP report, and not all reports are submitted to news agencies.
