Several Hundred Gather at Eureka Courthouse in Solidarity With Minneapolis Protests After Second Fatal Federal Shooting

Video from Ryan Hutson

Several hundred people gathered at the Humboldt County Courthouse in Eureka on Sunday  at noon for a protest held in solidarity with ongoing actions in Minneapolis, MN following a second fatal shooting by federal agents.

The demonstration, organized by 50501 Humboldt, was planned on short notice after the shooting of Alex Pretti on Saturday in Minnesota but drew a sizable crowd that included costumed characters, children, and pets.

Protesters lined the sidewalks surrounding the courthouse and along nearby streets, holding handmade signs, banners, and flags while many drivers passing by honked in apparent support.

Throughout the event, protesters displayed signs calling for the abolition of ICE, impeachment of federal officials, and broader government accountability. Some participants described the gathering as both a show of grief and an expression of anger over what they see as a growing pattern of violence by federal authorities.

Eureka Police Department officers were present in the area. Chief Brian Stephens explained that their role was to protect the demonstrators’ constitutional rights to free speech and peaceful assembly and to ensure public safety. Police were seen monitoring traffic and patrolling on bicycles.

The atmosphere remained peaceful during the demonstration, with no large counterprotests observed. Chants periodically rose from the crowd, and organizers circulated information encouraging attendees to stay connected for future actions in Humboldt County. One organizer held up a QR Code saying, “Take out your phone and scan this with your camera or take a screenshot of it so that you can join the group chat and get announcements for all [50501] protests in Humboldt.”

The protest was scheduled to continue until 2 p.m. Sunday and coincided with similar demonstrations taking place across the country in response to the Minneapolis shootings.

Protests have historically been a powerful catalyst for change, driving significant political and social transformation. For instance, the civil rights movement in the United States during the 60s exemplifies how organized and sustained protest can lead to monumental legislative changes such as a civil rights act 1964.
There’s a lot of derision from commentators on this site about the local protests. They’ll Dismiss folks as old and out of touch, but I think their underlying feeling is the fear of history’s judging eye.
As a little kid said on the Johnny Carson show when asked to complete the phrase “He who laughs last… “He who laughs last…gets beat up.”

It’s a pretty good job, if nobody shoots you…

There’s a difference between a protest and a riot, and this isn’t Iran.

I think that’s the point…

It was less than zero degrees yesterday, in Minneapolis…

I went to Minnesota once. in 1980.

It was fucking cold.

Protest like the Million Man March were catalysts.

The GeorgeFloydSummerOfLove and JanuarySixth were also catalysts. One needs to ask themselves why both of those uprisings were categorized differently. Please remember that if January truly was an insurrection, the protestors would have been as armed as Seattle’s CHOP/CHAZ TakeoverKingz. Please remember too, Trump told everyone to be peaceful, if he was the dictator y’all accuse him if being, he wouldn’t have left office gracefully.

Speaking of Seattle, what about those Seahawks!?!?! 💙 💚 🏆 💙 💚 From preseason long shots to Super Bowl favorites??

Two weeks ago they trounced the 49ers 41–6! 😂 Yesterday they sent the Rams packing in a close final NFC title game! Sam Darnold threw 3 touchdown passes without a single interception- all while nursing his torn oblique. And this is the guy that nobody wanted a year ago…

“Gracefully”. You’re joking, right? Look at the Jan. 6 tapes again. Trump called his lemmings to “fight” for their country and sat around for hours while the Capitol was attacked. Plenty of guns and Trumpian nutjobs in trees. Absolutely the behavior of a would-be dictator. The scaffold built for Mike Pence. On and on. Textbook example of a riot and attempted coup. Trying to conflate “Trump” with “graceful” is hilarious.

In my opinion the modern protest is a honeypot operation intended to be used to gather data to build digital behavior modeling tools to control masses, recruit radicalized operatives and expose attendee bio-metric data to the machine. If you want to do something do something by yourself, at least then its your fuck up that costs you and your aware of risks and take them for yourself. All this group play is kids shit and traps for fools. I know that the organizations that push this want you to think this will change the opinions of the masses, but the polling data is that we are already in our respective foxholes already. The comment section here clearly displays this, I would say almost 90 percent of posters here are just pushing a narrative from ‘their team’ critical thinking requires an understanding of all the variables in play, most folks just trust their sources and feel superiors to the other side just doing the same. The cope is unreal when facts dont line up with the narrative they just change the subject, most people here are using AI to ‘fill them in’ on subjects they just heard about. Has anyone done the AI bias testing? I have extensively and for anything not of a hard science technical nature its garbage.

If you want to pick up the costs and send over the design files I get a thousand done in a few hours. I think what may be holding some up is lack of access to a printer. However, any visual is better than none. A cardboard box got your attention and made you think enough to post about it, so half the battle for eyeballs and minds is already won.

Fedex will ship you boxes of blank labels if you open an account for small business, you can use them to print yourself nice stickers for cheap. Get a cheap laser printer from like 15 years ago, HP corporate models are good as they have massive amounts of cheap refilled toner packs to go in them. Many are ewaste, the one i use I got from a dumpster and spent $70 on pick roller kit and new toner. I wont post here where to find those dumpsters but im sure if you know some dumpster dwellers you can ask the source is well known. We throw away so much. Reuse ewaste and ditch corporate software for FOSS alternatives, if your realy in to this subject look in to coreboot libreboot firmwares that can be flashed on some intel macbook pros and many many intel chromebooks, one must get the chromebook in to root mode and remove write block screw for NAND then flash a stub of coreboot, boot the stub which unlocks the ME region (secured under NERF) then flash the purposely broken blobs over the ME regions. The macbook is similar but you dont have to remove a screw to write the nand, the stub is fitted in to the end of the ROM image in nand and is used to then flash the whole thing to coreboot.

The issue is it still is needed to preboot the microcode and handles virtualization IO mapping and other needed functions, the solution isnt perfect as the Minix kernel is still there in the ME region and runs on its own custom core inside the platform controller. really the issue is the mobo chipset there is no non agenda silicon out there, thats why we wont let china have TSMC, this backdoor of all the things for our ally.

Intel Management Engine (ME) firmware on Chromebooks is handled differently than on standard PCs due to Google’s security-focused design.

Google’s Approach: Chromebooks use a custom firmware called NERF (Non-Extensible Reduced Firmware), which replaces traditional UEFI and significantly restricts the Intel ME. The ME is disabled during firmware initialization by hiding its PCI interface, preventing the OS from interacting with it. No Direct Updates: Unlike standard PCs, ChromeOS does not provide a mechanism to update the Intel ME firmware while the system is running.  The firmware descriptor locks access to the ME region, making updates impossible through normal means.ME Status: Despite being disabled, the ME remains active in a minimal form on all Intel-based Chromebooks. It has network access via its own MAC address and can still be a potential attack vector, though mitigated by Google’s design. Disabling ME: It is possible to further reduce ME functionality using tools like me_cleaner, which modifies the ME firmware to run only during boot and disable it during normal operation.  However, this requires external hardware (SPI programmer) and carries risks.Recent Developments: As of late 2025, firmware projects like MrChromebox.tech have been working on enabling ME functionality for compatibility improvements (e.g., fixing resume times), indicating ongoing interest in managing ME behavior on modified Chromebooks.

As usual, a lot of convenient political interpretations have been applied to come to that conclusion. Yours is that it’s all just racism. But then most of the illegal immigrants in this area come from Mexico, Central and South America due to proximity to the border with Mexico. Maybe some Asian countries. And you apply the silly notion that all of those people are not in any way white. Therefore the government must be chosing to deport based on race.

Out east, things might be different because the country of origin is differently mixed. Some illegal immigrants there perceive they are being picked on because of a “Russian Detention & Deterrence Scheme.” These stories were from last year but apparently went under your “white privilege ” radar. “There illegal immigrants have filed a lawsuit complaining “In a suit against the agency filed in November, 276 immigrants from former Soviet countries including Russia, Georgia and Kazakhstan — nearly half of whom are being held in Louisiana — claim that they are being wrongfully denied release from ICE detention. The reason, according to the suit, is an “unwritten policy” of categorically denying release requests from Russian-speaking asylum-seekers who originate from countries that were once part of the Soviet Union in an alleged attempt by the agency to deter others from the former Soviet bloc from the attempting to enter the United States.”

So is it demographics or discrimination? But happily for you, it doesn’t need discrimination to chose.

Good article in Fox about the roots of the protest and the protestors. The local stuff in Eureka and Arcata et al is a re-run of past similar events going back at least 30 years. The QR code is a “tell”. The pictures are helpful as some of the old folks are recognizable. Same group, different day! Big clue as to who the organizers are is the name of American billionaire Neville Roy Singham and his 501(c) non-profit network. He is the money guy – and also a Communist (that’s a clue when you see some familiar old faces in the local crowd) living in friendly Shanghai. It’s a consortium of Socialist and Communists – the local Communist Party with some of those old timers used to and probably still meet in Arcata. Maybe they “Zoom” these days. The local events are a “dry run” for what’s coming to California. The are organizing with plenty of useful idiots.

No, the Minnesota situation on a larger scale. The fraud(Federal $$) in Minnesota is classic! Follow the $$ to the Somalians there via open border policies leads to Political leaders benefiting! Ice is there because the entire network is being taken down! Money gone, no accountability and/or siphoning $$$ by politicians like the former Democrat VP equals very unhappy people. As for the Communist/Socialist organization – they are taking advantage of the situation. Right now they are more dangerous to the folks they recruited. That’s how they work! You have to understand the Communist organizers are Maoists, not like the Russians. They have no problem getting their recruits into harms way. It’s what happened to the guy that was killed. He was called on via a network like the QR code advertised in this story. He’s a martyr. It’s how it works!

About the concealed weapon, the guy had a CCW permit that I hear a bunch of folks say to get to protect yourself and the public. He did not draw the weapon. It was removed from his body and taken away as someone yelled gun, gun, gun. The agent/s then proceeded to shoot him at least 10 times while he was prone on the ground. That is homicide.
He is entitled to carry a gun with the permit he had. 2nd Amendment exists to protect our 1st amendment rights and to protect from an authoritative, overbearing/reaching, and dictatorial government.
If this had been the previous administration, you folks would be screaming just the same. You don’t get to have it both ways. Ok if your side does it, but wrong if the other side does. My eyes don’t lie

Your permit means nothing if you are attacking LEOs and blocking a lawful operation. Your permit is not an excuse to fight with law enforcement. You don’t have a right to get in the middle of a enforcement action even if you have a permit to carry. He wasn’t protesting.

Actually the idea “you don’t get it both ways” applies to lefties too. It applies to those who constantly condemn people as fascist, NRA, white supremacist, Trump lovers, right wing nut jobs, etc for their gun ownership too. Remember all those remarks about how out of date the Constitution is when they push for more gun control?

As usual context matters. Most right wing or constitutionalists think gun ownership protections is what keeps government tyranny at bay. So this man was was protesting what he saw as government tyranny, had a gun and you defend his Constitutional right to do so? Well many of those you condemn would agree with that and would only be pointing out the dishonesty of the left for condemning people they don’t like for the same ideas they now defend this man using. Sadly this sudden love of the Constitution as it’s written will be forgotten soon.

This was allegedly organized by the same outside group 50501 that wants to destabilize our government and impeach and elected official. Whether or not their concern about alleged victims in Gaza (according to Hamas) and Minneapolis (disputed by video) is real, their silence about the ongoing massacre of 10s of thousands of Iranian protesters (reported by Iranians risking their lives to smuggle out info) and ongoing Internet blackout in Iran because it doesn’t fit their leftist narrative is a huge clue to the ethical bankruptcy of the Left and its alliance with Marxism and political Islam. Don’t be fooled, don’t be a tool of real oppression, think and become informed. Many Iranians are dying for the freedoms we take for granted and consider Trump a hero for supporting values of freedom.

Gosh, did you run out of cardboard and marker pens? Everyone who has been shot, was in a position of choice. They were either stupid or misinformed on how to act around police action. They all had a chance to stop their illegal actions. They made the bad choice. George Floyd made a bad choice. Hamas made a bad choice too.

Yes, “Trump Cult” is appropriate. I’ve been holding back, hoping for Republican sanity to return, but the prognosis is bleak. Irrational allegiance to a personality or belief system, despite faults and failures is a “cult” in my book. Breaking right here on RHBB.

Ultra isolationist nationalist type movements are gaining traction;
libertarians are falling apart as we move back in to a super power struggle mode as it can not defend itself from external threats;
Religious politics is on the rise, both Zionist fronts in Christianity’s evangelical scene and its off shoots and the rise of pro sharia populations.

The agenda offered products on the market currently are old guard RINO/Non MAGA Republican Zionist or ultra-nationalist Catholics like NickyF who i think shills antisemitism for Israel. I know i know this sounds crazy but its all the same game, why would we trust all the history when we see all the deceit in front of us now. The only thing that has changed is the internet. There is no organic movements that are not in alignment with one of the two sides of the dialectic manipulation of our supposed two party system. The real fact is the Zionist project of greater Israel requires the mass migration of Orthodox Jews (many oppose Israel on the basis of religious commitment to the diaspora)to the newly occupied land. The rise in antisemitism i have traced clearly to Zionist ideas on how to fight a fight. It well serves the secular Zionist cause ( birth rate similar to San Fran ) to use outside pressure to remove the perceived safety outside Israel forcing the ultra orthodox settlers ( birth rate similar to Amish communities ) to move to the middle east and participate in the colonization of both Ukraine and greater Israel. for students of history this link in antisemitism and its use by the acolytes of Herzl is understood, you can look in to the Nazi party and their goal of creating a Zionist nation which failed.

The false dichotomy of binary choice is what keeps us stuck. We could think outside the box, but most people are convinced that only two options exist.

And I can respect you more because of the honesty in your admission that the Democrats are indeed pathetic. Without being staunchly anti-Trump they haven’t had a platform for over a decade.

If the left had not chosen to parade their hatred and fear of Trump in order to pigeon hole everyone who took exception to leftist policies into his camp, Americans would not have been faced with the Hobson’s choice between Trump or Biden/Harris. To paraphrase the movie Field of Dreams- if you build a less extreme campaign, people will vote for it. The last election was in the Democrats hands. They chose to double down on their extremist agenda. Will they double down on their last double down? I suspect they will.

This is the only thing I can find that Fox News has published regarding this: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/tax-committee-republicans-press-treasury-crackdown-nonprofits-promoting-fraud-anti-american-hate

The claims you’re referencing are coming from Republican members of Congress — specifically House Oversight Chair James Comer and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna — who have asked the Treasury Department to investigate Neville Roy Singham and organizations they say he funds.

An investigation, however, is not the same thing as a finding of wrongdoing or guilt. At this point, no court or federal agency has concluded that any laws were broken.

It’s also worth noting that, so far, we have not found any credible source tying Singham or his funding directly to Minnesota.

That said, this isn’t entirely out of thin air. The New York Times has reported on Singham’s nonprofit funding network and its ties to pro-China messaging, which is part of what lawmakers are pointing to. It’s worth watching how this develops — but it’s important to distinguish between allegations, political investigations, and established facts, especially when trying to tie it to Minnesota with zero proof that those ties have been made.

New signalgate today.

For anyone who wants secure com solution you can not trust any device running a full stack OS, you must run a device which has firmware on an MCU which can display messages decrypted from OTA messages on an LCD and take input from a chicklet style keyboard. You can build this yourself with ESP32 and Lorawan transciever. Stay safe with your coms you are carrying a literal techno authoritarian spy in your pocket with microphone camera BLE and wifi radios and lidar based 3d mapping (faceID type tech maps the environment around you creating a high value granular interior model of almost every building in the country. This metadata will be fed to AI models which also have all your online activity and used to asses your risk to the agenda. You can build a reticulum netowrk from scrap ewaste and cheap 20 dollar MCU and Lora module. Do not trust any PC platform as they are all built from the ground up ( well the platform controller up ) to allow ring level -2 hypervisor access to your hardware, that is they have access to all mapped memory IO, the virtualization layer, DMA and the preboot microcode for the CPU.

How we rally got here- “From 2010-2020, nearly 80% of all deportations were initiated at or near the U.S.-Mexico border. During the COVID-19 pandemic, that number jumped to 98%, as both the Trump and Biden administrations utilized Title 42, a public health statute that allowed the government to rapidly deport recently arrived migrants.

The Trump administration in early 2025 set a goal of deporting 1 million people during its first year.

But with so few crossings, and thus deportations, at the U.S.-Mexico border, the administration instead has focused its efforts on the U.S. interior.”

Amazing that the flood of illegal border crossing that were determined to be impossible to stop suddenly dried up. There wouldn’t have been all the outrage over ICE had not Biden opened the immigration floodgates with automating asylum requests while limiting what border control was allowed to do when encountering them at the border. Now national media is engaging in their “It’s misleading” reporting that there weren’t more illegal crossings because the government stopped doing them at the border.

As opposed to the Democrats and Progressives who encouraged illegal immigration to such levels that they virtually allowed no screenings or removals for any crime? That they opposed immigration law enforcement to a level of declaring sanctuaries? So that immigrants didn’t even bother hading their gangs or frauds? That they were taught by the left that any restricts were just racism or xenophobia? You taught hate and disregard for the Constitution now want to demand its protections? And you take no responsibility that it turned around and bit you now.

Heres a tip for you: Federal agents wouldn’t shoot folks if those folks had ramifications for not protesting peacefully and impeding federal officers in the course of their duties.

Am I happy that two maybe Pretti Good folks got shot in Minneapolis? Of course not. Do I care? Not one iota. Alex and Renee could have chosen to be anywhere on God’s green earth than putting themselves in the path of immigration officials.

They chose unwisely.

But this was not a peaceful protest yesterday. This escalated into an intimidation of a Eureka business. A woman identifying herself on Reddit as “I’m a professor (and department chair)” doxxed a local towing company on Reddit for a driver saying “f-you all. Trump is your president” from inside the truck while driving by and protesters went over to the company to shout at and throw things at the employees there. Apparently one employee was deaf, didn’t hear them, so they threw water bottles at him. Protesters then flooded the online business reviews for the company with fake one star reviews. Relatively mild, but scary intimidation for the employees. I fear we’ve seen the first of what 2026 is going to be like. Stacy Ead did not prosecute ANY protesters back in 2024 and now we see the consequences of there being no consequences.

Not likely for this – but all bets are off in the future if it blows up. If this was a first person event (meaning directly you), I suggest filling a police report, writing a complete description of the event including witnesses, time stamp – can do with your phone, carry your phone with you to take pictures of the people that were harassing you etc., take screenshots of possibly pertinent information: example could be the QR code published in this story? You never know how liability can go down and might help with restitution. Much faster if you document and archives have been known to disappear. I’m sure there are other tips someone else can give. Kym no threat here! With that said … publishing that QR code was at minimum a bad look.

The Trump Administration should remove all federal agents from Mini-sota. Once the withdrawal is complete CBP should issue a PSA stating that illegal immigrants will continue to be detained and deported in all states EXCEPT Mini-sota. No asylum applications will be processed from any other state in the Union EXCEPT Mini-sota. eVerify will be strictly enforced in every state EXCEPT Mini-sota. All 6 National Parks in Mini-sota will be closed to the public and retrofitted to become Immigration detention centers and all detainees in detention centers in other states will be relocated to the detention centers in Mini-sota.

The people of Mini-sota will welcome their illegal alien brothers and sisters with open arms and know that their efforts to stop ICE operations in Mini-sota were successful.

Best to get the information straight from Humboldt Towing if they are willing to talk. Lots of misinformation spread around last night, up to and including claims the tow truck tried to run people over right in front of the police. 🙂 Someone posted the police took a report at the towing company site, but when I checked the police logs, I couldn’t find anything. Getting the actual story would be interesting. It was all over by the time I went down to see with my own eyes. Most of the electronic trail has been taken down, but I do keep screen captures. Humboldt Conservatives on Facebook kept a thread, which is still there. Good luck!

Your post claims Walz used “less than lethal munitions to shoot people standing outside their homes during the folly of covid lockdown policies.”

Is this video from the COVID lockdowns, or the curfews during the BLM protests? Of which, many on the right supported, including the deployment of the National Guard, as law and order measures during the unrest.

This video is from May 30, 2020 after the killing of George Floyd days before, igniting nation-wide protests. This video, from everything I can find, resurfaced when Walz was named Harris’ running mate with Republicans accusing Walz of being too slow to act in response to the protests. So which is it? Is this proof of heavy-handed authoritarianism or is this evidence that Walz doesn’t take law and order seriously enough, and is weak in the face of protests?

If you have video of the “less than lethal munitions to shoot people standing outside their homes during the folly of covid lockdown policies.” please share it, but from all accounts, this isn’t it.

Weird how lockdowns, riots, and curfews can overlap. Regardless of the impetus, this is the National Guard using less than lethal munitions directed by Walz to enforce tyrannical policies. Couch it however makes you feel comfortable.

So Walz calling in the NG to enforce curfews during BLM protests is enforcing “tyrannical policies” but DHS deployment in Minnesota is law and order?

Are you saying that the National Guards shouldn’t have been called in during the BLM protests?

Or are you trying to deflect instead of just owning up that your “memory” of the events wasn’t correct?

Truth and context matter and shouldn’t be a partisan issue.

Does that mean you insist that shooting less than lethal munitions at people standing on their own front porch under direction by Walz was ok just because of a BLM riot somewhere in the city while using similar munitions against people interfering with federal law enforcement officers is not ok because Orange Man Bad?

What exactly is the contextual difference?

This isn’t about “Orange Man Bad,” and it’s not about whether the use of force was right or wrong. It’s about the fact that your original claim was incorrect, and instead of acknowledging that, you’re trying to shift the conversation into a broader political argument.

You said this video showed enforcement of COVID lockdowns. It didn’t. That’s the factual point being made. You could just own it.

Deadly force by law enforcement is legally justified only when a reasonable officer believes there is an imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm to themselves or others.
Pretti was not an imminent threat to anybody. The imminent threat was those federal thugs.

You unreasonably assume, and have even firmly concluded, that the black beanie guy knew for sure that it wasn’t Pretti that pulled Pretti’s gun from Pretti’s gun holster, with absolutely no possible way for you to know that, whatsoever…

And so, that’s just plain steaming bullshit, being spread, of course…

There doesn’t have to BE an imminent threat, there has to be a reasonable belief of an imminent threat. Two very different things.

If the gun was accidentally discharged by the officer that took it (this is only a possible theory at this point) all the officers may have known is that the gun isn’t in the holster anymore and someone just fired a shot, who they would reasonable think was the suspect with the gun.

Let me state that if this ends up being true, I am seriously pissed at ICE and Border Patrol for not coming out with this already, as it would have been known immediately.

As I have said from the beginning, this shooting looks bad, but let’s not jump to the extreme of calling the officers who decided to shoot ‘executioners’ and ‘murderers’

Why should we give those executioners–and that is what they are–the benefit of the doubt when the fucking president and DHS secretary call the victim a terrorist within five minutes? They’re the ones jumping to extremes. We are the ones believing what we see with our own eyes. “This shooting looks bad” is an understatement.

Here’s an actual video analysis from a credible source that’s an expert on open-source investigations:

“The same video shows that as the federal agent in the grey jacket removes Pretti’s gun, an agent in a black beanie, who appears to have a line of sight on the gun being removed, begins to draw his own weapon. As soon as the agent in the grey jacket moves away with the gun and leaves, the agent in the black beanie steps to where the agent in the grey jacket had been with his finger on the trigger and fires the first shot.”

If it turns out the agent in gray had an accidental discharge, would that change your opinion of the “‘execution?”

Just as I am disappointed with all the rhetoric on the left calling this a murder or execution, I am equally disappointed with Bovino and those on the right claiming this guy was a terrorist planning to murder agents.

“It was 100% an accidental discharge by the agent that relieved that person of their weapon. Because everyone’s guns were out, they think that there’s a shooting,” one source said.

Additional sources confirmed that this is the explanation for the shooting that DHS is investigating.

The New York Post reported that an accidental discharge of Pretti’s Sig Sauer P320 pistol, which was being held by an agent after it was taken away from him, may have made authorities believe their lives were in danger.

No. These are supposed to be trained professionals, not jumpy little bitchboys. Did you see the agent clapping his hands after the murder? They’re looking to shoot people and found what they thought was a good enough excuse.

What’s happening in MN with ICE is terrible. I’m sure, sure, that Humboldt County would be pissed off if masked feds showed up here to enforce laws that we didn’t agree with. Oh wait, that happened.
Im in full support of the protesters and if I wasn’t so busy with life I would be there too.
Despite the comments here most of the Humboldt community are on your side, judging by voting results.

You know who Humboldt is? The aging illegal growers and users who dismissed the murders, violence, frauds that followed them like ticks as due to the government’s bad laws, never the simple greed that that ruled their lives. They chose to make as much money as they could outside of the law and had contempt for the order that law imposes on idiots. No, they saw themselves as the heroes of a Hollywood version of Robin Hood, where they only executed those who didn’t follow the “code”, weren’t responsible for any of the murdered, lost or displaced around them, saw everyone following the laws as pathetic, the law enforcement as nothing more than bumbling, dishonest fools.

Now that stupid barbaric warlord ethic has polluted the whole country through the vector of politics and here everyone is living now. And they are not one whit wiser in their old age. They are egging on their offspring when they bothered with them, making another generation of distorted values but still blaming . They still think they are the most important things on earth. While they suck up the air out of civility, brutalize compromise and keep getting it all wrong, complaining they don’t like what in the end was of their own making.

Mostly we talk (or type) so we don’t have to hear the thoughts ourselves
