It’s a pretty safe bet that the hospital will admit him because people usually have vehicle insurance.

Usually. But certainly not always. Like a CDL. Supposed to have one, but…

CDL is not necessary, only a current DL from ANY state.

From what I read on this site, there are those who would dispute that.

I am sorry that the pedestrian was hit and injured. I do hope the gentleman will be fine. Seems like we have a number of vehicle verses pedestrians in Eureka. If you are driving or walking just watch out for vehicles.

Was there a driver, or was this one of those self-driving cars?

There was a driver. That is all I know at this point. To my knowledge we don’t have any driver less vehicles in this area.

Was it a hit and run or what? You have to watch out for those BMW drivers. Just imagine the outrage if it was a Bentley! If it was a Prius, the pedestrian would probably be blamed!

I am not sure if it was in fact hit and run. But if I am going to be hit let it be a Rolls Royce.
